Holy Wars....The Punishment Due

Flipping through XM channels the other day and this bad boy popped up. In my opinion one of the best songs both musically and especially lyrically of metal at that time. Gave me chills hearing for the first time in over 15 years.

I just listen to some of the older Nu Metal, I guess it's called. I can't fuckin stand the box bands that have taken over right now with that Nickelback influence.

I saw them in concert about 10 years ago at the Little Rock River Amphitheater when they played with Motley Crue and a couple of local no names.
One thing is for sure Megadeth sucked live. I don;t know if they had an off day or what but every song was a mess and Mustain made no sense.
I expected more from them

pretty solid music. i've actually hung out with the bassist dave ellefson. not big into this kinda music but when you're drinking with a pretty legit band member you tend to listen to their music.

Well I have seen them 5 times and everytime they played flawlessly. And that is coming from someone who knows all there songs on guitar as well.

However, I have only seen shows past the year 2000, and Dave has been sober since then so maybe you just caught him after binging on heroine.

I thought Mustaine had an issue with his hand where he wouldn't be able to play guitar anymore... or am I thinking of someone else?
