I'm sure we can find millions hotter than her... I'm sorry but if you live life to the fullest which she did.. how the darn can you be sad over that persons death. If I die tomorrow, I am going to die happy with who I am and what I've become and I don't want people being upset over my death ever.

Good point but Whit is a big one.

The concept of celebrating/thinking about people when they die annoys me anyway.

But Whitney is/was large.  And it is disturbing.

I would prefer us to be appreciating her before this but it was sudden.

Right now we could be appreciating Mariah......... totally gifted..... yet nobody talks about that until they die.

Mortality sucks.

Been listening to her on the radio for years.........

And watched 10 of her youtubes tonight.

What is good about Whitney is her passion for the music.  She may start a song weak but she finishes it strong.  She loves it.

And yo crushlots........ if you don't think she's not hot wearing a black leather stitched dress with a choke collar.  Something is wrong with you.

Chose not to go see her in 2010 - read reviews of how she humiliated herself on stage - singing out of tune, forgetting lyrics, falling ..
Incredible how no one close to her helped her - oh, well she was probably surrounded by yea-sayers leaching off of her.

This video is fantastic - just a rehearsal but she's just divine (listen to the end - just magnificent):

like all of us, someone just going through time, albeit poorly and unfulfilled.

Definatley didn't cry..but she was a very talented vocalist...to bad she had to go Down that drug road, just left a sense of disappointment in her final years.but aside from her fucked up ways, her accomplishments in her gOod days should be the better remembered..

Check out the context.
Why think less of people who have flaws, do wrong, sin or whatever? Nobody is perfect.
My friends and family would care when I die.
She was one of the very few where millions of people around the world care. Doesn't make her life more valuble than yours or mine, she just touched more people with her divine voice.

Regarding the National Anthem:

Great sound..................................but lipsinked..........

And just because "everybody else does it" is no excuse. You want to have the Best Of All Time..................sing it

Dont really care. She didnt do anything special. Had talent and pissed it away. Another wasted life.

I was watching American Psycho for the first time the day Houston died. It is weird because Bale talks about her in length in that movie. She could've very well died while I was watching that part.

Lots of weird coincidences happening to me lately and I haven't even been smoking weed.

People should respect the dead.  Especially someone special and loved worldwide.  Most admired female singer in 2 decades with many awards or achievements in the music industry.
