How many actually have a job they enjoy?

Personally i am at a library and even if the job do not require a college degree.. i do enjoy it. Lots of different assignments + meeting new people everyday.

Also the relatively safety of being a public employee. I did take me quite a while though to find the right job for me. I have been doing regular office stuff and It.. but i did not love it.

How many of you have a job were you actually enjoy it?

I used to like it, but have been here for 10 years now and feel the need for a change. I am in marketing. I travel quite a bit and it's wearing me out. I need to update my resume and send it out. I just have no motivation anymore to do what I do anymore.

Right now, I am sitting at a Holiday Inn bar by myself pounding beer after beer. It's getting to be depressing. I would be done if weren't for my responsibilities (2 young kids, big mortgage, car payments etc.)

I&#x27;ve only been at my current job for 2 months but I love it.  It&#x27;s basically a typical office job with a twist... I&#x27;m a broker of sorts, and there is a lot going on, so it is very fast paced and although I am not working on commission yet, I will be - so I have to earn my own buck by being good at what I do, which I like.  I have customers who I absolutely have to take care of, but at the same time it doesn&#x27;t hurt to squeeze and extra buck or two out of them before I turn around and move their product for a lower price, and manage the process along the way.  It&#x27;s good.  Fast paced and high-pressure, but with a pretty relaxed atmosphere.

Personally i have come to the conclusion that being happy with my job is more important than the pay.

Maybe that is because i live in a system where it is not so important to make a shitload in case bad things happen to you in the future.

I only make around 21.5$ per hour or 41.000 year before taxes and deductions but i am happy. Ok then i also get a 12-15 % pension on top of it.

Also i like that i have my 5 weeks of paid vacation + around 6 national holidays.. + flex time so i can easely save up another week by working an extra hour here and there.

7 weeks a year that is a great benefit i would not trade away for a few more dollars.

I love my job for the most part but sometimes it really kicks my a$$.  Confucius said, "Choose a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life."  So true.  Unfortuantely there have been many days that free like work.

i just turned 22 last summer i had a job working for mtv in boston. I helped cast the show is she really going out with him. Basicall I got paid 100 dollars 6-7 days a week to go to clubs in boston for free sit in vip drink for free and talk/hit on/fuck every random girl i saw. it was the best summer of my life. Sadly its over

&#xD;&#xA;What I hate about my boss is that he travels an obscene amount and thinks I need to do the same, even if it&#x27;s not totally necessary. He is the kind of guy that would miss his son&#x27;s wedding for an "important" sales call. I just value time with my family too much to be like him. I don&#x27;t care how big his house or what kind of car he drives or what private golf course he belongs to. You only get one chance at life, unless you are hindu.

I love my job. My company is based in Europe. So I can stay up late each night getting some work done and then sleep in every day. I can set my own hours make good money. It gets tough sometimes but I wouldn&#x27;t change it for the world.

I definitely don&#x2019;t love my job, but I can tolerate it because of the pay. &#xD;&#xA;The only job I ever did love was working at the YMCA as a senior in high school. I basically got paid to work out, play sports, and talk to women.  Also, since I was in the work release program I got half the day off.  &#xD;&#xA;Damn I loved high school. I don&#x2019;t know why so many people bitch about it.

i enjoy my job every day is differnt and exciting NEVER know what will happen out in streets  sometimes tho i stay put in office getting information out to the boys  !&#xD;&#xA;location of the people commiting the violonce or crime last seen spot any phone calls they made from cell phones  etc... &#xD;&#xA;THEN sometimes i&#x27;m out on streets apprending who knows what !&#xD;&#xA;IT can get hairy at times guy to strong for me to put down too big  &#xD;&#xA;i need to tranquilze him which always works becuse the ones we use will stop an elephant !&#xD;&#xA;FUN FUN FUN
