I'm only 34, but was raised by two parents with morals, ethics, and a strict foundation for work ethic. This government intrusion needs to stop - and I don't see it happening anytime soon.

), most of us remember those days and wished those days never ended. The government today took away alot of the freedoom we use to have, I never heard of timeout when I was a kid who started this up anyways?. Kids today have no clue.

Sir: I appreciate your remarks, and I choose to have dialog with you. When was the last time you checked around your neighborhood and counted the number of women under 25 with children? and I don't mean one...you see them now with 2,3 and sometimes 4!
Granted some of these women have positive direction in their lives and achieve something, others screw their lives up without getting the college degree due to being irresponsible by their behavior.
And may I add, guys too, not just women. Plus when growing up I always had a parent at home and never had the chance to get into trouble after school, well now Johnny can only play so much x-box or something and goes out now and his Dad get's a call at work from the local Police department saying we have your son in custody.

I'm very fortunate that I had good parents who instilled morals, manners, and respect in me throughout my childhood. You are absolutely correct; there is very little "please" and "thank yous" from not only my generation, but the younger generation. They are spoiled, selfish, brats who think of none other than themselves.
It's funny you mention the inactivity of children nowadays also. I was speaking with my grandmother a few weeks ago about this. Kids would rather rot in front of a television, or a playstation/xbox, or even on the internet than do any kind of activity. No wonder we see so many fat shit little kids hobbling around. And then the parents feel bad for them when they're joked on at school. Well maybe if little Tommy didn't spend 14+ hours of his day playing Call of Duty and eating happy meals he wouldn't be obese at age 7!
Timeout? I never had that shit! I received good ol' fashioned corporal punishment and that shit worked! Now, if you even look at a kid the wrong way you can be sued. If a parent spanks their child, some uber liberal will call CPS preaching child abuse. Makes me want to hit these ppl with 2X4's. SO frustrating
