I won the weekly contest for the NBA , week ending 1/2/2011, I responded to the verification email like I was supposed to do. I have.nt recieved my prize as of 2/2/2011.
ANYONE KNOW HOW LONG IT TAKES TO RECIEVE A PRIZE?

Well your right dl36... so here is what I can offer. The way to claim your prize is not all the same for every contest/office pool. Sometimes Lou will email you and ask you for your account info at the sportsbook holding the office pool so he can forward the info or he will send you an email telling you what place you came in, the amount you won and an email address for the person who you need to forward the email to.
If it's a league contest... you need to do just what you did... verify your email address within 5 days to claim your prize... then wait on your check. Checks take anywhere from 3 weeks to 60 days... but you will get paid. Maybe the thing to do is PM Lou and or call Covers to see what's going on. Lou is as good as they get, he will make sure you get your money.

You really should not seem so angry about it... it's all in fun. You have plenty of chances in the PB to try and get to me... but we know you lose there too... so I guess now you want to bring your childish actions into the mains. That's ok... really, it's all good.
