NEW YORK — The eldest son of disgraced financier Bernard Madoff hanged himself by a dog leash in his Manhattan apartment on Saturday, the second anniversary of his father's arrest in a multibillion-dollar Ponzi scheme that swindled thousands of investors of their life savings, law enforcement officials said.

Mark Madoff, 46, was found hanging from a ceiling pipe in the living room of his SoHo loft apartment as his 2-year-old son slept in a nearby bedroom, law enforcement officials told NBC News.

He was also a crook, and apparently now a coward as well. His dad gets to sit in prison and realize his crooked ways caused his son to kill himself.

Why commit suicide a year after your pops imprisonment?  He had no problems affiliating himself to the scheme while making billions.  Suicide doesn't make sense in this case. I'm hoping for more details to this death.

As sad as it seems, no doubt this guy profited from his dad's misdeeds-

I also doubt he was not involved-

Dad got caught- take the hit for everyone-

I never like to hear of someone dying-  wait- check that-........



I would guess this guy was up to his ass in slime just like his dad- not charged or convicted so we will give him the benefit of doubt-





I have been troubled more by others' passing-
