I am wondering if anyone has done this before, such as prices, tips on where to go, etc.
Thanks
Find your local trade/technical high school, if they have a body shop they will paint it for the price of the paint.
I have a 2002 bmw m3 and i had the school near me paint my front bumper for $100 after i hit a curb. I figured if it came out like shit for 100 i would bring it somewhere else after. It came out fine and now i'm bringing another car to have the hood painted when they get back from april vacation.

I do autobaody for a living and we won't do an Entire Car for under $2,500. We are getting ready to do a 1972 Gran Torino (Including replacing the Vinyl roof) for $ 4 grand.
No respectable auotbody shop would ever do a car for under $1,000 considering paint, clear, sealer, reactor, and all of the other materials cost a fortune. themselves.
I just picked up 4 ounces of pearl tint and 8 ounces of white for a Lincoln Navigator today and that was Over $100. That is just for the Front Bumper cover.
