Best City in the North America

Just reading thru the most miserable city thread and I think it would be good to have the antithesis of that here in the forum.Basically what is the best city to live? You don't have to live there or ever lived there for that matter but just a place you visited,or know a little bit about and really liked.

Criteria to consider would be

Job Prospects
Living Costs - Housing,taxes etc
Family Life - Schools,daycare costs,etc
Crime and safety issues
Amenities - Sports teams,outdoor activities
Nightlife - bars,clubs,women,strip clubs

 

My own vote would be Toronto

The last place I visited which I really liked was Minneapolis (in the summertime). It has a good combination of all those things you mentioned.

Boston (closely followed by Miami) for big cities, otherwise Reno if you dont need the stuff found in a top 10/20 city.

Vancouver is a wayyy better city then Toronto... With that being said, neither cities deserve the best city title.

My personal top 5:

1. San Diego

2. Boston

3. Toronto

4. Las Vegas

5. Quebec City (in the Summer)
