COVERS RADIO SHOW CANCELLED

I remember I emailed the Prez a couple of months asking if they were going to do extended radio shows to cover all the major sports around Sept/Oct time.He replied saying that Covers wanted to make the show shorter so it looks like they were trying to get rid of it for some time.

It's not the kind of show where you're going to get great statistical information on systems,trends,bets of the year etc.,but it has been great entertainment over the past year that I've been listening to it.The show will have it's critics but if it's not costing Covers much to produce I can't see why they'd cancel it now just before the Superbowl.

As they said on the radio show it's not going to get thousands of listeners every day but it would be worth continuing even for only 2 or 3 days a week.I'm sure the sponsor Bookmaker.com has got a little bit of business out of it as well.Also this radio show is something a lot of other betting sites do not have.

I also use another UK based betting website and every so often they do video previews of upcoming sports tournaments,big games etc so it could be an idea for Covers to do extended length shows (radio or video)previewing the likes of the Superbowl,NBA playoffs,March Madness,the start of the MLB season,World Cup and so on.

All I want to say is a big thanks to Teddy and The Prez and all their guests over the past year    

I think we should keep this thread going as well as emailing the show as a petition to the get the show back on the air.

why are the covers guys not on anymore? As for guys in the basement...Pizzola is money man his picks are very good...Cam is average and best to many of the games but his laugh is classic and I think he is a great host!  Seriously though why the f*ck is Marc Lawrence and the crew not on anymore though? it's gone back to crap callers who are half burnt out and know what the newspaper told them...ughhhh....can someone fill me in on the reason though??????
