Anyone Have A Droid?

I just got one. I really like this thing. The keyboard is a bit small but I'll get used to it. My question is...are there any really good aps I should look at? Any suggestions would be helpful. I saw one where you can scan a barcode and get the best prices available. That is AWSOME. Any other good ones like that?

I don't. BUT, Game 7 of the 2003 ALCS is on the MLB Network right now.

But...as a Giants fan too...the Saints are coming back. I DON"T HAVE MULTIPLE TVS YET!!!!! I need to use that bar code scanner to see where my best deals are.

years ago i had the occasional flare-up, but a lot of fiber, yogurt and baby wipes and I am, happily, droid free!!!

I have the Droid and love it.  I have the barcode scanner app and it's pretty sweet.  Used it this past week for Christmas presents.  Other apps that I use most often are the free ringtones, music identifier (great for trivia and/or parties) and the usual Pandora, Facebook, YouTube stuff.  Haven't really used up much of the space on there for apps though

Oh...and of course my NBA GameTime app that shows live scores and stats and video from the games.

I downloaded some soundbite things for fun and slacker. I will download the score updates and stuff soon enough though. One question though, how do you delete/uninstall apps? I can't see to find that anywhere.

One more thing...some apps say prices in dollars, yen and euros. Does that mean the ones in dollars are only available?

I have an iphone and the service is fucking terrible.  

My wife needs a new phone and is considering the droid.  One concern she had with the droid was with the sync capabilities.  The iphone is great and easy as it backs up everything everytime its hooked up to the computer (contacts, pictures, apps, downloaded songs, calendar appointments).  Does the droid have this type of sync and does it come with software that is Mac OS friendly?

Sparky...the cost of the apps goes by where the developer of it is located, it will convert it automatically to US dollars for you.

The droid does have the sync capabilities, however I'm not sure about the MAC OS....never used a Mac.

As far as uninstalling apps, go into the droid market and go to downloads (it's under the menu button).  All the apps you have downloaded will appear, click on it and the uninstall button is right there.

IMHO the Droid is 10x better than the iPhone due to the better coverage areas and availability of more apps/games/downloads.

Havent used the droid but love the web browsing on the iphone.  Just wondering if its the same on the droid.  Touch sensative? expand or decrease the screen by seperating your fingers?

The droid iris has the expand and decrease, the regular droid doesn't for some reason

sparky, i have the droid and i also love it.. here are a few good apps.
papijumps- a fun addicting game that can pass the time
dolphin browser- a better browser that allows you to expand with fingers and run multiple tabs
sports tap- the best for updated sports scores for any sport
google sky map- an awesome app that shows exactly what is in the sky overhead
fml- fuck my life- very funny
mototorch LED- a flashlight, comes in handy
quickuninstall- allows you to remove programs with one click
the weather channel
usa today
where's my droid- allows you to text the word droid to your phone from someone elses if you lose your phone, even rings if you have your phone on silent, very useful if you lose your phone as much as me
pandora- good for finding new music
free dictionary- good for me because i am a student
