Considering how many championships Boston has won recently, I will have to say no to that one.

Philly teams don't even make it to the championship game, so I doubt it.  I believe the Phillies making it last year and the Eagles random visit to the Super Bowl were the only times in the past 30 years or so.

And still, 3 Super Bowls, 2 World Series, and an NBA Championship in the past 8 years aren't bad.

not yet...as much as i dont care for boston sports they have their fair share of titles lately...
 
i also wouldnt call tonight a choke on their part. Their team just isnt that good without KG

Phiols WS has a big * after Romero was caught cheating ( 50 game suspension )

He registered 4 wins last year, they won division by 3 games...

NFL - 2 teams, 1 Superbowl in 18 years
NBA - knicks, 0 conference titles this century
MLB - 2 teams, 100's of millions of dollars spent this century, 1 World series
NHL - Islanders and Rangers done nothing

So ny_bob wants to critices Boston who have won 1 NBA title, 2 World Series and 3 Superbowls this century, all with 1 team per sport, yet he cannot see what a failure his NY teams are.

I'm not a Boston sports fan per se , but when Garnett and Brady go down, that's very tough..
 
A choke tome is a repeated attempt by 1 team that continually fails .. don't see that in Beantown imo

Romero cheating 
Manny probably was just drinking milk and eating steak during the NLCS too right?? 

The Phillies title will temporarily fend of the Philly fans but we still are dying for an NFL title and getting sick of the current Eagles regime.  Until that happens no one will be satisfied.  

Alex, you need to educate yourself more on what Romero got caught "cheating" with.  Carry on.

Philly is still loser city. NYC is the place where the people like the sports teams spend shit tons of money to try and feel better about themselves, but at the end of the day they still suck.  I doubt Philly will ever lose their beloved title of Loser City .  And the mlb teams in NYC have spent billions this decade alone, and with the Mets and Yankees current make-ups, i don't see them having much a chance at a title anytime soon
