Keeping it simple this year.  Going to the local farmers market during the day, gonna see what is good and fresh and prepare a dinner from what I can get my hands on pick up some local wine there too (the first meal I cooked for her was done this way).  Then a movie with the woman I love.

This is the one day a year I am glad I am single
no wasting $ on bullshit chocolates or flowers that last 2 days or cards that are a waste of $ or Pajama grams or teddy grams or any of those other bullcrap obligations

 Here's an idea, Pasta (Very Simple) I suggest Bowtie, with a $2.00 bottle of Alfredo Sauce(Add a small can of mushroom pieces) Saute some shrimp in Butter and Wine and serve on top. The fresh veggies in the side. Viola!!!!!

   Much bs as i put up with from my GF, she's gonna do valentines for me this year.      Atleast 6 porn induced bj's........ and i will require a mid afternoon massage.

Valentines Day sucks.
 
Couples version of an Ametuer Day (much like New Years Eve).
 
sooner you learn that then the sooner you will not have to douche it up on an arbiturary day.

Agree Valentine's Day is kinda a waste.  But obligations prevail, so it's off to dinner.  She wants scallops cause they keep making them on the Food Network.  I'll get myself a nice medium rare strip steak.
 
What really blows is that in October, there is "Sweetest Day" which is kind of a regional holiday that I believe originated in Northeast Ohio - cooked up by American Greetings who have a headquarters here.  F'in double whammy.

i have given my wife a gift everyday this week.
 
flowers on monday
balloons on tuesday
cards today
lunch tomorrow
nite out on friday........dinner, movie, nitecap.lol
saturday i give her a gift of a spa day for herself all day you know, manicure, pedicure, massage, facial then i am cookin my only dinner i can for her.  no jewlery because i have run outta things to get her.

Valentines Day may be the greatest day ever to meet women. Any good bar/restaurant and everybody without a date is officially on dsplay. You're single without even having to ask the question.

Shouldnt you be nice and do these things for your wife/gf every so often and not feel obligated by this bullshit holiday (which really isnt a holiday because it is just a consumerism bullshit day)
 
 
I am glad I am single...maybe when i get either money or a woman I will feel differently

Hoping the in-laws can take the kids, if not watching blues clues and yo gabba gabba.

My wife and I have a long time arrangement not valentine gifts until after valentines day. we get the same candy, plushed animals and bath sets for half the price.

diamond ear rings. really got a good deal,even with gold pricesoing up jewelers are hurting with this shitty economy.
 
they are just trying to move there product get some cash and i don't mean those jewelers in the mail
