THURSDAY
WV-MARYLAND
Well I can tell you that WV is going to win the game and I can tell you that they can pretty much name the NUMBER by how much …well maybe. As I type this the spread is WV-17 so the question is can WV Cover the 17?
Ok let me think……. A -17 and that is 2 touchdowns and a field goal. Now just for the hell of it let say
Damn the MAN has this game right on the f**king NUMBER if you are looking at Numbers but hell we all know Numbers aren’t on the field playing Thursday night.
Last year when Maryland played WV they actually had a Senior QB in Hollenback that could pass the ball and he went 25-45 completions with 2 interceptions but WV had hung 38-10 points on Maryland in the first half and coasted to only a final of 42-24 but they did hold Maryland’s RB Ray Lewis brother Lattimore to 42 yards rushing on 15 attempts and he will probably be damn lucky to do much better this year since WV is going to be loading the box and with the level of completion much higher than lower level Villa. And Fla.Int . I don’t think
WV tuned up the pass defense last week against a damn good passer with Marshall QB Morris in my opinion but Steffy damn sure is going to get the chance to sling it here.
Now if you look at Maryland’s last two games against those two teams you can see they had Steffy slinging it 25 times in both scrimmage type games tuning up for this action. Yes that right
Well how did Steffy do? Villa. 19-24 and
Yea that last year
Anyway it looks like I have keyed on all the passing Blah,Blah in this game above and the only reason for that is if you can pass the ball effectively then you can usually run the ball effectively if you have a decent O line and the only reason for that is the other teams defense cant load the box against the run every offensive play as they have to respect the offensive teams passing ability and of course that in turn allows the offensive team to pick up those 3-4 rushing yards and not get in all those 3rd and 8 or 3rd and 9 passing downs with low probability percentages of success.
