Tech's schedule is winnable. We will probably be favorites in the ND game at ND, or at least near pk em.
This is straight from collegefootballnews.com:
Georgia Tech Realistic best case record with this schedule: 10-2 Barring total disaster worst case record: 6-6 Realistic record: 9-3 It's not bad. Four of the final five games are at home, and the one road date is at Duke. Boston College and Virginia Tech have to come to Atlanta, so if the Yellow Jackets can survive road dates at Virginia, Maryland and Miami, they should be in for a huge ACC year. Notre Dame is going to need time to jell, so going to South Bend for the season-opener might not be that bad. Georgia has to make the trip to Tech this year.

- Almost certain win - Likely loss - Could go either way
Do I think we'll win the national championship? Probably not. but in 1990 we were unranked preseason and shared it.
I can think of many worse ways to lose 20 bucks to win 4000.

haha yeah real funny. CFN has our REALISTIC record at 9-3. If Reggie Shitball is gone, that could mean we squeek out some big games in the W column. I know reggie had won some big ones also, but he's lost many more than he's "won" himself.
I'm telling you guys, i know it's most likely, but it's only 15 bucks. and this team still has the talent, schedule, and with a little luck, might be in the bcs when all's said and done.

Even at 500-1, it is not worth looking at. Ga Tech is in a rebuilding year.
it's comments like these that i wonder if this guy even has any single idea what hes talking about. name the players we lost, dude. sure we lost some talent but no more or less than anyone in the nation. this guy (bum) probably thinks calvin going to the nfl means we're shot in terms of talent. NOTSOFAST, my friend...

West Virginia beat them without Slaton. WVU returns everyone. GT lost Calvin. Its a waste of money.
Huh? is that a thought? WVU and GT are in different conferences. do you really think sports operates by the a>b, b>c, therefore a>c law all the time? If so, you must never lose a bet.
I'm just saying the potential is still there, and the schedule is as favorable as possible.
And I wouldn't brag about a 3 pt win over Tech after Tech shit the bed 2x to end the season to finish on a downturn.

22. Georgia Tech 2006 Record: 9-5 Calvin Johnson is gone (bad) as is Reggie Ball (good), but almost everyone else comes back on both sides of the ball. Nine starters return from a defense that should be a killer, while RB Tashard Choice will carry the offense early on. QB Taylor Bennett showed in the Gator Bowl that he's good enough to get the passing game moving.
That's from CFN. Doesn't sound like a "rebuilding year" to me... but if you insist, we did have a top 10 national recruiting class.

Tech's chances of going undefeated are better than 200-1... but will they make the title game if they go undefeated? It's an honest question - consider Boise St. not going this year, and how stacked USC, Texas, Florida, WVU, Louisville etc. are going to be next year - it's not out of the question that 2 higher ranked teams go undefeated or even an early 1 loss team goes ahead of Tech even if they were to pull a miracle and go undefeated...

VT is 25/1 and Tech is 250/1. When we beat their ass at their house last year and return a better team. Like I said, it probaby wont happen but the value is incredible.

i just got some at 250/1...

I really think with what FSU did this year... they will be in a BCS. And maybe... just MAYBE, they go with just 1 loss (playing Florida in Gainesville is ALWAYS a task).
