Everyone on these forums likes to bet the favorite. That's the nature of bettors in general. I do think this price is a little steep. The really hot chick on sports line had this at -6 which is about where I would have had it. I'd make it probably -5 but that wouldn't be a significant difference.
The concern I have about Colorado is I'm not sold on their offense. They've put up good numbers overall, but they were meh last week in a high pressure game. They also don't run it all that well to take pressure off the QB. But still their D has been very good and it's not like Washington has a Bama like D.
I don't know if either side is a "great" bet, but I think the guys jumping on Washington and making it their play of the year are stupid. You shouldn't lay this many points unless you have a team dominated on at least one side of the ball and I don't think that's the case here. I do have a feeling Washington wins though.

I think CorneliousCook summed it up. I think Washington wins this game by less than a TD. I saw Colorado play at Michigan earlier this year. They played well until their QB was hurt. They were up in the fourth. I think with their starting QB in that would have been a touchdown game. Michigan also played poorly on offense that game.
Washington has played 2 physical teams this year in Utah and USC and they were close games. Stanford is physical but they got no QB at all so you can throw that game out the window.
Then again, the opposite tends to happen of what I say so maybe Washington does win this by 20 just to spite me.
