I'm not one who posts things like POUND IT!!! Easy money, etc. But this game I will be putting a little extra on.
Miss St +8
Bama had their emotions up last week to play an undefeated LSU team with the Heisman frontrunner, knowing that a good performance vs them would have handed Fournette the trophy and possibly given them their first loss.
But now they play another Heisman contender, one that has been forgotten since his team lost 2 early games - Dak Prescott. In fact, that whole team has been forgotten about. They are home vs the Tide with 2 extra days as they played on Thurs last week.
Last year Miss St was undefeated and Bama gave them their first loss. They can return the favor today, as there are no undefeated teams left in the SEC so giving Bama a 2nd loss is just as good. I try not to get wrapped up in revenge but I think this angle combined with a slight letdown for Bama makes for good value.
Last year in Alabama, Miss St outgained the Tide by a good margin but they lost due to turnovers. With another year of experience under his belt and the home field I think Dak improves on that aspect this time. This will be the first QB Bama will face that is a lock for the NFL, and he has an absolute beast WR to throw to in Derunnya Wilson. Similar to when Manziel and Evans beat the Tide at A&M, a mobile QB with a big tall WR csan do damage to that Tide D. Wilson is practically uncoverable one on one.
Miss St's D is also a bit underrated. They are #1 in the entire nation in 4th quarter points allowed, allowing 0.8 at home in the final quarter on average. 0.8! Meaning the Tide won't be closing them out the way they usually do with just wearing teams down. And unlike LSU, the Bulldogs have a great QB and are multidimensional. Dan Mullen's team has shown the ability to adapt to defenses, I was impresses with the playcalling vs Mizzou last week, in the 2nd half they pretty much did whatever they wanted.
I expect the Bulldogs to give Bama a serious test and stay within the number or win SU.

Have you looked at who Miss St. has played since they lost their 2 games?? Combine the records of those teams and see what you come up with. M St is ONE dimensional. No team in the USA can beat Bama ONE dimensional. Bama's secondary is so MUCH better than the past 2 years,it is not even close. Dak is a really good QB,probably 3rd round NFL,but Bama's D is an NFL D right now. And like Dak,Bama's D knows him WELL!! Gonna be hard for State to keep this one within 8. Maybe late backdoor??

I see what you're saying, but Bama's D can be negated by the quick passing game and Dak to Wilson is a nightmare matchup. I think if Bama wins they squeak by. luckily I think there are a few more good spots today if Miss St fail to cover, which are big revenge spots.
Iowa -9.5
I usually play against undefeated teams this time of year as they are under pressure to keep up an undefeated season and the lines have been inflated. But here we have a Minnesota team that just lost its coach and dropped 51 on the Hawkeyes last year. Tables should turn big time tonight. Gonna drop another 2 units on this one.
Stanford -9
Another revenge game, Stanford is too physical for the Ducks.
1 Unit
Auburn pk 1 unit
Iowa St +12 1 unit
Okie St just smashed TCU, line looks low, possible letdown.
Cal -21 1unit
Just gotta keep going against Oregon St as much as possible eap away from Corvallis. Cal should roll.
