Good morning my degen brethren... My posts usually get buried, but what the hey. I have some major feels on a few games, and would love and appreciate (ahem, Gamblor) the karma for passing on some winners...
UTEP +3 +100 (+150ML)
The line going the wrong/right way giving the home team points. I know people are like "hey, that's UTSA, they gave Arizona a run or whatever...respect".
That's all great; but you like to WIN money right? Look back at the season opening thread I had about Texas teams: UTSA doesn't contend 24/7. While I'm grateful for the WK1 cover, I gave it all back on the MELTDOWN vs. KState. They are a hometown team, so it stings to call them out and just fade...but my money is in play -- nuff said. The Miners have a better QB and I think they will win this outright at home. UTSA outside the dome, at night, no thanks.
SMU +6 -110 (+250ML)
Now this is the kind of case I made for UTSA WK1. This team IS contending, and if I'm getting points at home, even better. Baylor was never going to lose, don't play (and a 1-pt cover, not gonna brag). But going INTO TCU's place and CONTENDING...now you got me looking. They have had a tune-up game between, and again like the home team. If they win the penalty battle, it should be a comfy cover all night. Trust me, they are improving and won't let the visitor walk all over them.
A&M -3.5 -110
My squad is delivering, and don't see any reason to jump ship. (which would be a pass, not fade). Back at home, and not facing those irritating cow bells (at least a whole stadium full) tonight. Sumlin is settled in too, and I have to believe that at WK5 the DC has his crew ready to prove a big outing. Not even a question about "looking ahead" either...just win -- convincingly!
