Robinette announced today that due to fear of concussions and a history of other injuries he's had that he will no longer play football anymore. Robinette will now eneter Vanderbilt's school of Orthopedics this summer and will be studying orthopedics. LY Robinette played in 6 games and in 2013 helped lead them to wins over Georgia,Florida,The jump pass vs Tennesee and a Compass Bowl win on my birthday over Houston that made me a nice chunk of change
We're starting to see this more and more over the last few weeks guys with players ending their careers early. I'm not for or against it because at the end of the day its your life. Robinette seems to have his priorities right wanting to get into medicine and be.a doctor and will be getting that Vandy degree on the wall
I think i speak for most of us i'd say 9 out of every 10 guys in this forum when i say to Robinette thanks for making us money and GL going forward in your life

Pack, I'll second that. In fact I've been fortunate to recall 4 Vandy quarterbacks who I've cashed many a ticket on.They were: John Gromos,Greg Zolman, Jay Cutler, as well as Patton Robinette. Some great memories. I had the opportunity to meet John Gromos later on after his playing days were over at a meeting in Las Vegas and thank him personally for that very reason.
