Meyer is more proven but Helfrich has a crazy winning percentage & has his Ducks peakingMeyer is no doubt an elite coach & well accomplished but Helfrich may turn out to be the same so I wouldn't necessarily assume it's a mismatch
I'd definitely say edge Urban though
I could understand that for sure, urban is excellent & has adapted over time, his success all over is very impressive, I appreciate greatness & he's great

Ducks and over. Mariotta will score 45 here. I'm surprised this Cardelle guy is so good. Urban is a hell of a recruiter I tell ya. Tons of talent on OSU and the future is bright for them. Game should hit 80 points. Thinking Ducks win 49-33ish. The pace should be ridiculous. I do think OSU has the edge in the trenches tho but just won't be enough to contain Mariotta. Ducks defense is playing well, but this OSU offense will get theirs. GL Hookem

I'm gonna say this as well.. This is coming from a Fsu fan!!
I understand the statement saying Ohio St beating Bama wasn't as big as an upset as the media, Vegas, sec lovers make it to be. This Bama team wasn't anything special and had gotten beat by an Ole Miss team that, well we saw what they were. Just wasn't the Bama's of past few years is what I'm saying.
I also believe that Fsu wasn't nearly as good as last years team. I watched them play every game this year, and it amazes me how they ran the schedule (I don't care what it was). I thought the game would go one of 2 ways. FSU would hang and hang long enough to have a shot at the end to win it or Org would blow them out. Org is very good, and I tip my hat to them, but Fsu quit, straight gave up (which as a fan and a coach irritated me watching it).
So, with all that... I've seen Org lose at home to Az, and Ohio St lose to VT. Either can be beat, neither are world beaters. I don't see Urban Meyer crew losing by more than a TD. I got 8 right now with the local. Haven't punched the ticket yet. Org wins, Ohio St covers IMO.
I will have my play before long though. Listening to all the bull crapping for the next week gets your head spinning more than it already does.
BOL fellas.. And Wahoo, would love to see who you decide to go with. Nice seeing your posts again

I'll post around a few different threads, I had both Oregon & Ohio St in the semi finals so I know both teams & think both are very solid
First initial lean was Ohio st & over, now I'm leaning Oregon
I find last minute reasons to change my stance on these big matchups, I initially leaned both Bama & FSU when those lines opened but ended up loving Oregon & liking Ohio St once I did ample research
I actually watched the Auburn/Alabama game twice, once I saw how Auburn exploited that defense I knew Urban could do it in the same manner. I saw two seperate fsu games & quickly realized that team wasnt gonna be able to stop Oregon's attack. Mounting a comeback against Oregon is next to impossible if they jump on you by several scores.
I'm very excited about this game for college football & it's well being. I feel like we needed an Oregon/Ohio St matchup to get all the SEC propaganda off ESPN for a couple weeks. One thing the SEC faithful will never be able to say is that they won the first ever college football playoff & that alone makes me smile from ear to ear.
this is a great matchup & I will definitely have a play
my heart is with Oregon but I don't bet with my heart so we shall see over the next week what I come up with
