Well guys Pitt and Va.Tech last night were conservative as hell but my play won with Pitt. 1-0 day +$400 19-30 on the season -$10,284. Coach Chryst from Pitt i love ya buddy but um throw the ball down the field.Tonight i have a max bet because IMO 1 of these lines is a joke. And that line is:
Temple +8.5 for $1,100
When i 1st saw this line i thought "Wow thats a lot of points but Houston should be -7 -7.5 if Temple's QB Walker is hurt" Then i did research and Walker is fine. This line is a joke guys. Houston is 3-3 1-3 in the American. Temple is 4-1 2-0 in the American tied with ECU. Houston's qb play has been mediocre at best with O'Korn having a sophmore slump and Greg Ward is a good athlete playing qb but he is raw
Temple has 1 of the most underrated Qb's in the country in PJ Walker. This Temple team has 1 of the better defenses in college football allowing 14.4 ppg and only 151 pass yds a game. What's Houston done in their new stadium? Beat Grambling and UNLV wow! If you want to make the Cougars a favorite because they are at home fine by me. IMO the line should -1 to -2.5. -8.5 based on what?
If i lose the game i lose it hell look at my record. But when i see a max bet opportunity i bet it and if i lose then so be it. At minimum i think Temple keeps this within the number and wouldn't shock me if they pull the "upset"

i understand peewee. Houston has the potential to be a contender in the American but they haven't shown it to this point. Hopefully Houston will show it next week

There was a thread about this game last night..... Guy was taking Temple. Yes, Houston has played badly at home. O'Korn is not the typical Houston QB we're accustomed to. But the new guy Greg Ward Jr. brings a running abilty they didn't have. Remember he fumbled the winning TD out of bounds for a touchback in the final seconds of the UCF game, then went to Memphis, threw for 188 and a TD, ran for 95 (17 carries led the team) and a TD. The defense held Memphis about 100 yards under their average. The Cougars pass D is ranked 8th and while PJ Walker is good, he hasn't had a 300 yard game or a game with more than 2 TD's.
Temples schedule has included Vanderbilt, Navy, Delaware State, UConn and Tulsa so I would be wary of their defensive rankings at the moment.
One thing going for you, is that at least Temple is the more consistent of the two teams.... and we all know that on Friday night one big underdog will not only cover but even win. GL

It does seem to be a very curious line. The Sagarin rankings have Houston at 68 and Temple slightly higher at 63.
For comparison's sake, by these rankings Pitt is 54 and Virginia Tech is 33.
While the lower-ranking home team in Pitt was around a pick'em, here we have very closely ranked teams with the home team Houston favored by more than a touchdown.
Temple might have a pretty good defense, but let's not get carried away here -- like Houston, they've beaten lowly competition. No one is going to be amazed that they have stifled the likes of Delaware State and UConn.
Both teams have relied on their defense to win games. Houston ranks 2nd in the nation with 19 turnovers forced.
Another thing to note: Houston lost cornerback Lee Hightower and linebacker Derrick Mathews to season-ending knee injuries last week vs. Memphis. Will this hurt them or inspire them?
When I see lines like these, I tend to think Vegas knows something that we don't (which makes me lean Houston).
Historically, Houston has beaten Temple all three times they played, including a 22-13 win for the Cougars last year at Temple.

I have seen all 3 losses for the Coogs this year. I was at the UTSA debacle and I watched the BYU and UCF games on TV. I thought they looked terrible against BYU and the 8 points loss was no indication of that game. The UCF was typical Coog high school play football for them. The only problem is I haven't seen any of their 2 wins. No Grambling St. doesn't count. I'm guessing the lines what it is because they are clicking right now. Just beating Memphis last week and playing well enough to beat UCF by 10 points.

well that sucked huh? Didn't want to get back on tonight but when you lose you might as well otherwise you get labeled as a frontrunner. 0-1 day -$1,100 19-31 on the season -$11,384
I'm so pissed right now i can't even see straight. I'm sick and tired of losing every f-ing week. I couldn't do that if i tried
I'll tell you something you don't know the 1st Thursday night of the year i had a teaser play WSU and Ole Miss. Before those games when i woke up i had a feeling i don't want to do this in terms of bet cfb this year. Well my gut was right huh? And worse guys like warcameagle come in my threads when i asked him not to and he acts like a jacka$$ . To be honest guys i don't really like football anymore. Its just a job no more no less. I'll finish out the year and we'll go from there.
BOL guys sorry to rant but its either that or punch a wall

Not saying Temple was the right play, but that game was closer than the final score, Temple dropped a TD and had to settle for 3, that goal line fumble that would have tied the game with 9 minutes left in the 3rd and then the bad snap on the punt late in the 3rd when temple was going to pin houston from the 20 in. you'll get it back tomorrow

gurt with all due respect i don't have to pay $500 because it was closer than the score
Fade me the rest of the year boys. Miss.State could play my HS alma mater who is 1-7 on the year i'd Pick Miss.State and Prescott would break his leg and our I formation offense would pick them apart
