So a buddy of mine is on here all the time and I made a remark that it was a site of donkeys leading around donkeys. I frankly wasn't meaning anything by it, was just giving him a hard time because I generally just fade him. Please take this as no disrespect, as I didn't even know anything about the site, so wtf do I know. I just like giving him hell. So we made a wager that I could post my picks on here and beat 3/4 of the 8 guys he follows and plays. I'm getting 3/1 odds and I figured why the hell not. I don't play many games, so I'm probably not a very good follow, but it's up here and we shall see how it shakes out. I unitize my bets (1-6), but I guess our bet is on overall performance so... yeah. Anyways, I do like a play tonight, so I'll just start right there.
CSU- 3Units @ +3 1/2- I'll realistically be playing both the points and the ML, but since I'm competing and don't get any bonus for ML's, I'm taking the points. There are a number of reasons I like this one, but a couple silly ones are that coach Mac has been a poor game manager dating back to his SJSU days. Please save the "but they scored a million points and won 10 games" rhetoric. Watch the games and you'll see it yourself. Second, I think Jordan Gehrke gives them a much better chance to win, but they inexplicably seem to continue to go with a player that likely is a sub-60 comp% player in an offense where half the HS QB's in Texas could hit that number. What I'm saying is we aren't exactly talking about a Bruce Arians vertical attack that's pushing his number down. Lastly, the Colorado rushing attack struggled throughout the spring, only once topping 4 ypc against themselves in stat tracking exhibitions. And the Buffs defense isn't exactly awesome. Gl to all! I'll get some Saturday games up late late tonight.

I'd like to add that if CSU doesn't win outright, Colorado got a hell of a game out of a kid named Wes Christiensen, who can house anything at any time. But again, someone has to get the kid the ball, and I'm highly doubtful that happens.
