I recommend that the 10 of us have some kind of discreet email distribution. If we are willing to do the research, it should be exclusive. Otherwise, there is no motivation. I have one trusted hub, to distribute weekly reports to the SBC to the 10 people who contributed. Set deadlines and require no public posting. That's my $.02.

maybe set a standard format for the respective write ups. I have a MBA Background so a SWOT Format may work. Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats...and a recommendation and a predicted score...
if we are going to do this, we should be organized...

data analytics are fine when you have a population of data to analyze. you are not going to have that in the first third of the season. assessments that aren't based on real time data (last season does not have much weight) will not facilitate valid conclusions. by the middle of the season there may be enough data points to incorporate. I recommend that we crawl before we can walk. Let's have a standard format, (I like the environmental and qualitative points Wise referenced). But, since you are the leader, take all the recommendations and put together a quasi business plan for the 11 members. I know we are all anonymous degenerates , but if we are posting almost 9 weeks prior to the season, we must all have a passion for our chosen hobby...
I find the SBC very difficult to cap. Basically 2 star and a few 3 star players playing all out. That makes things hard to predict. I did notice that Idaho has been a bad ATS team the last two years (ie fade material). Petrino will eventually make an impact, but Idaho away from Kibbie seems like a potentially profitable angle for the season...
Again, let me know next steps...thanks for coordinating...
