NILL and some jerky teams during the week put me in a hole of 10 Units. 2 days left of the week. I need some solid picks, I am happy with being down 5 Units or less, I need to win 5 units in 2 days. Lets see if i can do it.

Don't try to get it all back at once. Don't pick a lot of games. Concentrate on just a few at a time. Play for the long haul not the short haul. Pick the Cowboys against the Bears would be a good start and possibly Auburn against Missouri. Most of all don't make any picks you don't feel comfortable with and don't rely soley on anyone elses advice. You have to sometimes pay for your lessons. I have and I'm still learning, you never stop learning. Be careful who you listen to especially on here cause a lot of idiots just throw out crap they know nothing about. Only 3 percent of sports gamblers win in the long haul so it takes a lot of work and luck favors those who are prepared. It takes a lot of work and knowledge to win so don't expect to win without it.

Take 1st half UNDERS in the Oklahoma/Oklahoma State and Central Florida/SMU games.
Is that your sister in your profile pic cause if it is you need to introduce me to her. Why you think under first half on the C.FL/SMU game? They both can put up the points.

Fiftytwopercent. I want you to realize this. Close to 84% of American bettors who win their losses back, will lose twice to three times worse within a week later.
Don't join that majority. Be the minority. Teach yourself money management. I don't care if Sam "Ace" Roethstein visits you every time you take a s***, you won't win without money management.
Win this money back, and then stop until you learn how to financially equip yourself better. Down 10 units tells me that you have next to no financial capabilities in the sports gambling forum.
I want you to read the threads that start "Jordan Lynch sucks so bad," and "The Florida Gators are so pathetic and I hate them." These are the people that will teach you how to better handle yourself in the gambling world. They're stupid people. They are examples of what not to be.
A financially sound gambler does not vomit words of hate towards players that--three hours prior--were worth enough to wager hard earned money on. You don't see a consistent bettor spew hate speech on Covers after a backdoor loss. You go right back to the chalkboard, you figure out how to reach your gains without going over a fiscal amount set by yourself, and you get back on track.
I was down that road. I lost $500 on a game, so I put $1000 on the next. I lost $1000 on that game, I bet two team's 1K a piece. It took me a $5,000 lesson in 8 hours some 6 years ago to get where I am at today.
Covers is filled with losers, idiots, casino-builders, mindless wanderers and guys that would play a perfect stand-in for Nicolas Cage in Leaving Las Vegas. They are suicide gamblers. They are better off putting every cent they have on 0 at the roulette table then to make profit in a solid week in this game.
Weave through the bulls*** and find the people in here that can give you a helping hand-- there are some. Those guys will all preach money management too you, just like I preach it. Be sound. Control yourself. No room for two-pump chumps in a money-making world.

AMEN BROTHER!!! You can tell this man here has been around awhile and has paid for his lessons. I've been through similiar stupid moves, paying for my lessons. I bet 25K one time trying to catch up and lost and it hurt bad and oh what I would give to be able to do that over. Everyone is going to go on a losing streak if they bet very often and you can't get frustrated by it. Don't listen to most of these idiots out here who don't bet for a living or part time living and probably most hardly ever actually bet at all. They don't care if you win or lose and have no stake in it. This guy is right MOney Management is HUGE and if you don't have it no matter how good you are at picking games...YOU WILL LOSE!!! Of course you have to make more winning picks than losers but there are some simple but wise ways to manage your bankroll to protect it from losing streaks and to capitalize on winning streaks. You can let me know if you want to hear my money management system that works for me and everyone else I know who is successful. You have to leave emotion out of it as much as possible. You can have fun doing it of course but anything to do with any serious money should be treated like a business and only a good sound fiscal program will keep you from your business failing. GL.

Not trying to thread jack OP but I would like to hear @pnutt money management system and @thedrizzle77 couldn't have said it any better
Hey, I don't think your jacking the thread. LOL. My system is simple. You can start with any amount for a bankroll. You simply risk 4% of your bankroll on each bet. This makes it to where you can't bet more than 25 bets at once. Every time you win your bankroll will increase so your next bet is 4% but will be higher. It's the interest upon interest concept. When you lose you bankroll will go down so you still only bet 4% on your total bankroll. When you do this and you are winning your bankroll increases dramatically very quickly. If you go on a losing streak it helps guard against getting wiped out very quickly and you can recover from it. When to take profits for your personal use is up to you. Anyone long term pro gambler has a system like this or very similiar. I don't believe in the betting different amounts according to how strong you think the pick is. Some use a star system and say this is my 5 star pick...well I think any pick you make should be a 5 star pick and deserve the same 4% risk on every bet. Hope this helps. Any questions or opinions feel free to ask. GL.

Sorry Pal, this is not always the case. Maybe he/she is just stating an opinion, does not mean they actually placed a wager on the person or team.

No offense but I do believe this is the case about 99% of the time. Simple facts are most people lose at sports gambling in the long run and most have no idea of what they are doing and most people on here just spout a bunch of stupid crap that is untelligent, biased and those that try to make intelligent observations don't know enough of about what they are talking and place too much value on certain things and not enough on others and are way out of whack. YOu have to find what works for you and what works in the long run, not just short run. Finding someone who has proven over a long period of time what they are talking about is what you should do and who you should listen to...and not just one. Listen to several pros who know and learn as much as you can. I learned a lot on my own but I also learned quite a bit by listening to several people who made their living at this...not a bunch of idiots who have no stake in anything.

@pnutt thank you for your time I really appreciate your explanation! And will deff take into consideration . Thnk u once again!
You are welcome. GL. I dont' mind telling the little I know to those who appreciate it. I don't know it all for sure and I'm always open to hearing someone elses system(s) cause maybe they have come up with something I didn't think of that works or works better. One thing you will find if you read people post on here is that very few people know how lines work, how they are set and why and what controls line movements. It's amazing that they don't know these simple things. And their are a lot of other things people don't know that they need to know to be successful and that's why the sports books are getting RICH!!!
