they will come out.

Then they check who's number it is, boom.  You think he has a friend that will take fall on his own if T'eo was in on it?

the big piece of information is whether they met in 09 after the stanford game or 3 or 4 months ago. it is definitly possible that someone could have been playing him if they only met withing the last few months. anyone ever seen this documentary? there are some fucked up people out there

im confused
didnt he supposedly "meet her at a stanford game in 2009?"
Nov. 28, 2009: Te'o and Kekua meet after Stanford's 45-38 victory over Notre Dame in Palo Alto, according to the South Bend Tribune: "Their stares got pleasantly tangled, then Manti Te'o extended his hand to the stranger with a warm smile and soulful eyes." Kekua, a Stanford student, swaps phone numbers with Te'o.

admit to seeing her or meeting her in Hawaii
2010-2011: Te'o and Kekua are friends. "She was gifted in music, multi-lingual, had dreams grounded in reality and the talent to catch up to them" (South Bend Tribune). "They started out as just friends," Te'o's father, Brian, told the Tribune in October 2012. "Every once in a while, she would travel to Hawaii, and that happened to be the time Manti was home, so he would meet with her there."

So he made her up , all of it and now is trying to deny it and claim someone else created this against him?
wtf?

but this thickens the plot

Reagan Mauia, an Arizona Cardinals fullback, said he believes Kekua existed because he met her in person when he and other Polynesian teammates and Pittsburgh Steelers star Troy Polamalu went to do charity work in American Samoa in June 2011.

"This was before her and Manti," Mauia said Wednesday evening. "I don't think Manti was even in the picture, but she and I became good friends. We would talk off and on, just checking up on each other kind of thing. I am close to her family. When she was going through the loss of her father, I was -- I offered a comforting shoulder and just someone to bounce her emotions off. That was just from meeting her in Samoa."

Mauia said Tuiasosopo -- whom Mauia believes is Kekua's cousin -- introduced the two. After the initial meeting, Mauia said he met her at an "after-party" for all of the athletes involved in the camp.

"She was tall," he said. "Volleyball-type of physique. She was athletic, tall, beautiful. Long hair. Polynesian. She looked like a model ... "

He said it is his understanding that Kekua's mother is operating her Twitter account. He said he'd never met her mother. When told by a reporter that she apparently might not have existed, Mauia said: "No, she is real."

Oh Osirus,

Here's why his awards were bul lshit!

Teddy Greenstein, Chicago Tribune, said he voted for Manti because of the plight that he had with his girlfriend and grandma.

Said he would now vote for Johnny, even if Manti was tricked.

I really wanted to believe his story (whatever the hell it is) because the alternative is just so, well, icky.  I mean, changing the pronunciation of your last name to rhyme with “Heisman” is one thing.  Making up fake, dead girlfriends is rather another.  He’s better hope he’s happy.  If he’s not, he may want to consider converting. Anyway, at least we know who Oprah’s next big guest is going to be.  “On the next Oprah Winfrey Special: He was living a lie; line-backing football star at a Catholic University by day,  fuge-packing dance queen at the Manhole by night.”

And Catfish isn't a documentary.  At least not a real one.  It's a pretty good movie, though.

you can't be serious Capper.

THIS IS NEWS BECAUSE THE ENTIRE COUNTRY AND PARTS OF THE WORLD WERE RIVETED IN FROM SEPT THROUGH JAN TO THE RETURN OF ND GLORY AND LED BY A SR LB WHO LOST IS GRANDMA AND AHEM, "GIRLFRIEND" TO DEATH ON THE SAME DAY,

THAT MEDIA FRENZY AND OUTPOUR OF EMOTION ASSISTED HIM IN WINNING ABOUT 8 AWARDS AND COMING IN SECOND IN THE HEISMAN VOTING AS A DEFENSIVE PLAYER, A MAJOR RARITY UNLESS YOUR NAME IS CHARLES WOODSON OR MEAN JOE GREENE.

come on Capper you are better than this.

In a taped interview on October 10th, Brian Te'o discussed having met the girl as well. He even said that he believed she would be his Daughter-in-law. Te'o was never duped. If anything his father made up the story and pushed Manti to go with it to help his awards campaign. We already saw how Brian reacted to a newspaper showing Manti's behind on the turf.

That would explain his decision to attend Notre Dame.

In the end, though, I suspect we'll find out the only chubby he was chasing was in his roommate's pants.

Ok its news....

He benefited from Grandmother and "Girlfriend" with a motivationof self promotion; which i guess worked??

He still will got Top 10; because there isnt too many "sexy" picks...and not a NFL ready QB among them!

So you are left either to believe

He was duped online and benefited

or

He was involved for self-promotion and personal gain..

VICTIM????

OR

Perpetrator????
