The media built ND up, and pissed the Alabama players off.

What cracked me up about that was the Notre Dame player in the background right after.

He’s jumping up and down celebrating while his team is getting destroyed 41-14 in a national championship game.

I can tell you for a fact that this is 100% true, and that the player that was the most pissed off was the defensive MVP of the game - CJ Mosley.  Mosley plays the same position as Manti Ta'o, is better than Ta'o, and I never heard his name mention one single time by the media in the weeks leading he up to the game.

Alabama did to Ta'o what they did to to the Honey Badger the year before.  Both are good but not great players, and both were over-hyped media creations.  And for the second year in a row the media completely dissed the #1 defense in the nation heading into the national championship game, and for the second year in a row, them doing so provided all the motivation the Alabama defenses needed to dominate their respective games.

The media has made Saban's job of motivating his team (especially his defense) the past two title games very easy.  The media managed to do more motivating than Saban could have ever done in that regard.

Once again, Alabama smashed through the media illusions.

Because his stats were almost exactly the same and he played a hell of a lot less snaps-

Get a clue douche bag!! You really don't know anything do you?

How about contributing something to the forum- like a pick or an opinion that doesn't make you an azz clown-

Well, let's put it this way.  It's a good thing he went to Notre Dame instead of Alabama because he would crack the starting lineup at Alabama.

From what i seen of Ta'O he was slow and could not tackle, i kept wondering how the hell did he get approx:103 tackles on the year, then i reminded myself of who they played.

7 interception in a year off tipped passes is Johnny on the spot.

That was funny when AJ had a tipped pass, and Musburger said...Oh it's a tip pass and Ta'O almost got another one...

He was like 8ft away diving for the ball.

He is an athlete without a doubt but, as many awards as he got nobody can tell me there were not more deserveing defensive players in college football somewhere.

The awards s-h-i-t has gone out the window years ago.

Just like the Heisman BS, can somebody tell me why all the great players that played at Alabama the only Heisman winner was Mark Ingram...

MEDIA is the downfall of sports, they mislead gamblers instead of helping them.

AJ done the same thing to Barrett in the 1st qt and Musburger didn't pick it up because Barrett let it go by, i think it was about 6:00 before the 2nd qt.

Check it out when they replay the game if you didn't tape it.

AJ looked like little Saban going off, while he was getting Barrett, Saban was getting the ref.

To peas in a pod, guess Saban wore off on AJ a bit.
