#77 Posted: 1/7/2013 10:53:06 AM Great write up Jimmy as always. I'm on Bama big as well. I was looking at a couple of prop bets and I see Lacy -90.5 and Yeldon -76.5.
If Bama wins like I think they will, I think both of these players go over the total.
Thoughts? |

Now that its the day of the game...ive thought that ND was going to lose at least 4 or 5 this year!!??
I will be happy if Alabama wins Big....so we dont have to hear this ND is back crap...they played OU and USC (down) and some PUDS!!! They mix Football and religion, the fans bug the sh it out of me.....Just be glad if you dont have Facebook friends that are ND fans (like my wife does...she cant wait for teh game to be over so she can stop hearing about it!!) I dont do facebook!!!
I locked it in...(After A&M game)
NCAAFB Futures - 2013 BCS National Championship - Alabama +700
and when the line opened!!
Football - 269 Alabama -8 -115 for Game
BOL
ROLL TIDE
I have a futures bet on Alabama @ +350. I wish I had +700.
I would be stunned if Notre Dame scores 13 points.

I would say OVER on both, but that's kind of hard to predict without knowing what Notre Dame's defensive strategy will be. If they bring everyone up close to the LOS, it could be tough sledding for Alabama's running game. I don't think they'll do that. I think at least initially they'll try to stop the running game with 7.

#83 Posted: 1/7/2013 11:18:41 AM Jimmy i have to say you are going to be upset after this one! Sec schedule is not notre dame schedule! That was proven this bowl season! So your matchups are biased and will not translate into a 34-6 win! Notre dame 3-4 defense will be just fine! I would be more worried about your o line holding up against nd talented front 7! Coukd not disagree enough with u! When I was a michigan homer early on that was my heart talking until i finally admitted bama was alot better! That is not the case here nd is good and so is that defense! They held michigan to less points than did your bama! Another note bama defense aint all that! Max bet is a stretch but good luck as i have no dog in the fight!

#84 Posted: 1/7/2013 11:23:11 AM Jimmy great write-up, im on the ither side, i see a close game...does it bother you that when Bama played the three really good teams on their schedule they didn't cover the spread at all and almost lost all 3?? They didn't exactly dominate LSU and Georgia. Not saying ND dominated anyone but they don't have to, they just have to not lose by 11, either way GL |

#85 Posted: 1/7/2013 11:27:25 AM By the way louisville beat florida in the trenches if yiu watched that game! All ive seen from sec lineman is big fat slops with horribke feet! I think i read that right as you said florida didnt lose in trenches? False.
Jimmy 34-6? Omg dude notre dame is better than nost sec teams! Michigan got spanked by bama but lost by 5 to sc and they did not get pushed around! Notre dame pushed michigan around like bama did!
Lsu lost to clemson! Florida lost to louisville!
These are top 10 teams that are considered elite by the public that lost to good teams not great! Bowl season has proven nothing but that thesec is not all that great! They are just good!
Miss state lost also but who cares!
My point is simple i hate sec and you love bama but bowl season has proven to me and everyone that the sec isntwhat it has been in years past! Bama struggled with georgia and lsu! Why wouod notre dame be abpny different! Kelly is a great coach be careful! |

Book it!!!! Take it to the Bank!
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul. |

#96 Posted: 1/7/2013 12:42:32 PM Big Ups, Jimmy. I'm right there with ya. My biggest plays this bowl season were Ole Miss and Bama.
Would you say you're more confident in this years national title game or last years title game??? |

I have no problems admitting my hatred for the SEC and lovefest espn has for them! ND and Bama will be a good game not a blowout. Im tried or hearing about Saban and the talent. ND has the talent if not better talent in the treches.
Whatever im beating a dead horse. Good luck all. GO BLUE! |

Once again you let your hatred of the SEC to cloud your thoughts. So you think ND's 13-6 victory is better than Bama's 41-14 beatdown of Michigan because they scored less points on ND? Idiotic statement. By the way- the SEC is 5-3 in bowl games this year. And one came against your beloved Wolverines. Please tell me how Notre Dame scores? Bama's weakness is it's secondary but N. Dame won't be able to expose that. Saban will load the box to stop the run and dare the Irish to throw the ball. Pitt gashed the Irish run defense and Bama's running game is much better. Bama also has a legit QB. And you say Notre Dame's defensive line is underrated? Are you nuts? That is where everyone is saying the Irish strength is at. And if you think Alabama's offensive line is overrated then you truly are crazy. I can't stand Saban or Bama but this is not a good matchup for Notre Dame. I think they can keep it within reason with their defense but I see something along the lines of 24-10 or or 23-12 for Alabama. |
