Where I come from, if you bet ATS -110 you win 100
if you buy 1/2 you bet 120 to win 100.
if you buy 1 you bet 130 to win 100
You still win the same. Only when you lose it obviously costs the extra juice.
Buying the points won Ted the Wisky game as the points came into play and turned a losing ATS bet into a winner which you also have to account for in the long run.

Comon guys...If HE chooses to buy points, so be it. It's not like you guys are coming out of pocket to pay for it yourselves.
The guy is posting winners and is contributing to the community.

I want to see him kill the book.. he doesnt need to buy like this.. He knows what he is doing but wish he would stop buying points.. the people in here are trying to help him ..I hope he stops doing this cause he cant make money like this im just being honest... he did it again with oregon .. he projects a 32 point win and buys it off the 8 to 6... if anyone feels that good about a play then u take the 8 to 9.5 for some.. i know thats what i would do..

Yeah I hear ya Originator. But everyone bets different so to each their own.
I also buy points off key numbers for "insurance" occasionally but hey if it works it works. It worked out for Ted with the Wisky game while most of us took the hit.
I guess all I'm sayin is everyone has their own betting style and is investing with their OWN money. As long as you can contribute to the community and we all make money together, who gives a garbage how someone else bets?
