BG+7(2 Units) Going with the better Offensive line and Defense...
BG also has one of the best sack % / pass attempts in FBS which means they can really get after the QB....SJS lost to Utah State by getting sacked 13 times...yep 13 times in one game..San Jose State is just so-so at protecting Fales (72nd nationally in sacks allowed), so this is an area Bowling Green HAS To exploit.... The Falcon offensive line has started the same unit in all 12 games this season, sacks allowed from this O line is 1.1/game (13 sacks in 12 games) Chris Jones’ 12.5 sack are more than five teams have for the entire year! That’s right Jones’ 12.5 sacks are more than any of these teams:
Chris Jones - 12.5
Fla. Atlantic - 12.0
Kansas - 12.0
New Mexico St. - 10.0
Eastern Michigan - 7.0BC-6SJS Has a dandy QB and passing game but the long layoff will throw off chemistry, also COLD today with some wind does not help the passing game....BG offense is soso but with a good RB and O line should adjust better.. This BG team is too stable and solid and +7' should be fine, West Coast team just flew in 4 days ago probably doesn't have their bodies adjusted to the times good yet,They just lost their coach 17 days ago
and the Interim coach for this game is flying the coup as well,San
Diego's Ron Caragher was hired, and Baer is going to follow MacIntyre to
Colorado. It's awkward.... Caragher has already started to coach with the Spartans during Baer's final days ... Caragher watched practices back in California last week and traveled with the team .. ``In some ways, it can be very confusing,'' said Baer...ya think? alot going on for these kids in a couple week span..probably too much.... I think this will be a close game..

Cincinnati-9(2 units) The Seniors remember last time a coach
bailed on
them and took the entire staff, This time it was handled alot better
and the seniors have stepped up with leadership and with experience in
this one, Short and sweet George Winn will be playing his last game for
Cincinnati,Duke is just terrible against the run,In each of Duke’s four
losses to end the regular season, the Blue Devils
allowed an average of 294.5 rushing yards, and Georgia Tech and Clemson
both surpassing 300...That is controlling a game! Duke has moved a RS Freshman WR and a true
Frosh RB to safety for the game because they are so thin. They also
have a terrible run defense, ranked something like 102/103 in nation...Cincinnati
some say will not be motivated, I think they will be.....who in the
hell wants to lose to Duke? That would haunt the out going seniors for
the rest of their lives.... and THAT is real life motivation.
