#1828 Posted: 1/2/2013 7:54:51 PM Capper I just think Florida won't allow themselves to not be ready. Lafayette game was after string of big games so car Georgia Missouri. Was natural let down situation |

#1829 Posted: 1/2/2013 7:56:24 PM Louisville...shear madness; I'll lay !4 !/2 ...but played the !3 1/2 I played @ the D downtown Vegas casino {gift] when the opening lines were posted... Florida in my opinion {Georgia road game & 6 turnovers removed} would be playing in the championship game! the Gators will be motivated and springboard this evenings effort, setting up next years table...not a question in my mind whose superior on defense...and Louisville will be lucky to see the ball in this contest! Gators

#1832 Posted: 1/2/2013 8:00:30 PM another mismatch on paper again and another double digit line. florida is full of pro's while louisville is young and played a strenuous bigeast schedule. Against the Gators, the Cardinals face a talent deficit at almost every position, except for one, QB. the most important position on the field. louisville will need every bit of him and his nearly 100% healthy self to compete in this one. he's not a big scrambler, just as accurate a passer as there is, getting blitzed or throwing it deep, he gets it there on the money. driskil is quite the opposite, he is more of a dual threat than a money ball thrower, although he has looked pretty damn good at times, florida chooses to play it more close to the vest. I think bridgewater will be the best qb florida has faced this year, i know manziel, but bridgewater is a much better passer. the key is certainly l'ville's big o line that avg 6’4” 310 and is led by 3x All-Big East C Mario Benavides to keep him upright. we can beat the talent mismatch deal up all night, but i think you have to consider the situation as well. The Gators have a habit of allowing their opponents to stay close.
Remember, this is the same team that got pushed to the limit at home by
Missouri and then almost lost to Louisiana-Lafayette at home the
following week. bowling green almost got them some in week 1 of the season as well. florida is by no means an offensive juggernaut and want nothing more than to just pound gillislee. They don't exactly score when they want to or from any spot on the field. there was a 5 game stretch in the middle of the season where UF avg’d an abysmal 104 ypg through the air. Charlie strong is a pretty sound defensive mind and I think he will have a plan to keep everything in front of his defense and force driskil to beat them. let's not forget, Strong helped recruit many of the players on Florida's roster. He knows them
well, and that knowledge should have helped Louisville prepare for the
Gators. There are a ton of players on the ville from florida as well, there ought to be some good jawing and familiarity on both sides. florida had a shot at the big one, but are here playing louisville from the bigeast instead. Had Northern Illinois not crashed the BCS, the Gators probably would have been playing Oklahoma in this game. Florida has been a double-digit favorite five times this year, they are 1-4 in those 5 and just 4-6 all time under muschamp. they have played down to their comp many times this year, but this is not a sanwhich game or a "game off" between sec games so they should be up and att'em for this one, but I think this one comes down to Charlie Strong knowing this florida teams strengths' and weaknesses and Bridgwater's arm. If louisville can keep him up, i think he can put in the endzone once or twice and the way Florida plays offense, i think that will be enough to get the money.
Louisville +14.5 -120
