#1 Posted: 12/15/2012 12:31:04 PM What's up all??? Let's get down on some fat bowl games. Panty Droppers, Bang Bang Bang All Day Long Foot Up A Dogs behind, Bang Bang Shrimp, Whack'em, Let's rollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll.
Both of these teams have extreme talent at running back, but I give the edge to Carey given how he has taken to Rod's offense. Jefferson has been a stud as well but the lean goes to Carey. Both of these offenses have an advantage over the others defense and while Az defense has certainly been porous at times, Nevada's is 112th in the nation and I don't really see them stopping Az offense, if they do stop Carey, then they have to deal with Scott. One big key to Az success is that Rod was able to bring Casteel with him to start to build a defense, something he didn't have at michigan. Ault is an offensive gem in his own right as the creator of the pistol and is everything to Nevada football. But I don't know what it is, but is there something to older coaches and them prepping their teams for bowl games??? Beamer seems to have a problem with it hahah, just messin, but damn Nevada has been bad in bowl games. They lost to an uninterested Southern Miss team in the Hawaii Bowl last
year. In 2010, with their best team ever, they barely beat Boston
College in the Fight Hunger Bowl. In 2009, they were blown out by SMU in
Hawaii. In 2007, they were shut out by New Mexico in this very bowl.
Since a thrilling, 49-48 bowl win over Central Florida in 2005, Nevada
has lost five of its last six bowl games. I have a really hard time backing a defense that I'm not sure can stop the other offense, while both of these defenses leave a bit to be desired, its clear who's got the worst of the two and only one side has the leading rusher in the nation. give me
Arizona -7 -130

#7 Posted: 12/15/2012 1:15:41 PM some familiar names in the nations top 10 defenses, maybe not so familiar at 10 in utah st. love what gary andersen has been able to do at utah st. this 3-4 ought to be able to zero in on reedy and fluellen and set the tone as i just don't think toledo's offense is as spectacular as it has been in recent years. Aggies defense has shut down some pretty nasty offenses and are 10-2 with road wins over both Tech (in overtime) and SJSU
(by 22 points), and only five points separated them from an undefeated
record. They missed a late field goal in a two-point loss to Wisconsin,
and they lost by three at BYU. i'm going to side with the better defense and what i feel is a more stable offense and team.
Utah St. -10 -130
good luck all
