NEW MEXICO BOWL

Arizona -9                  2.2u to win 2u

Both teams defenses gives up a lot of yards. But Nevada had a much softer schedule than Arizona. Giving up 34 pts to Northwestern St, 21 pts to Texas St, and 24 pts to New Mexico can pretty much clarify which defense sucks more. Arizona have the nation's top rusher Ka'Deem Carey (1757 yards), while Nevada has the nation's #2 top rusher Stefphon Jefferson (1703 yards). So it could be a showcase of both teams running game. I think Arizona's defense will be able to stop Nevada for a couple punts and their offense being able to score on almost every possession. Arizona is trying to raise money for their new stadium also, so that could be enough motivation to show up in this bowl game. 42-27 Arizona.


IDAHO POTATO BOWL

Utah St. -10               2.2u to win 2u

Utah St. has been flying under the radar all year going 10-1-1 ATS and I have played them many of times. This team, especially their defense, has impressed me: beating their inter-state rival Utah 27-20 as a 7 pt dog, almost upsetting Wisconsin & BYU at their place, and going score for score winning @ Louisiana Tech. Utah St. has seen and beaten better offenses than what Toledo will bring to the field. IMO, Toledo might not even be motivated for this game, the MAC Champion was the true prize they wanted. Utah St. does have a bad bowl record, but I see a totally different team than the ones before.   38-17 Utah St.

like Utah st also. not sure bout the zona game. thinking it'll be more like a 3pt game. nonstop scoring and who has the ball last. GL

Can not disagree as I saw NV get blown out by a crappy AF team who has lost Navy and Army.  I believe NV had their hearts set on coming here for their bowl as usually they are here for the holidays so maybe they are disappointed too.

Like em both.  Think the SOS of Arizona destroys Nevada.

Utah St. has scored 35+ pts in 7 of their last 8 games (38+ pts 6 in a row). Which tells me they can score anywhere, whether at home or away. They have their offense running smoothly and their defense creates turnovers for some quick short field scoring. The weather in Boise does concern me a bit, but I think it favors Utah St. more than it would Toledo.

I'm sad to see Utah St.'s season come to an end because I won't be able to make any more $$$ off them. I was a little worried when I saw how much of a size disadvantage they had against Toledo's players. But the Aggies defense played tough and held Toledo's offense to 3 fgs. I didn't think I was gonna hit the team total but the Aggies running game wore down Toledo's defense and then gashed & dashed them in the 4th qtr.
