to get a better deal at Ok.State. The noise going around is Gundy is not a big fan of his a.d. and that he wants control over the entire football program. I said when these rumors came up about arkansas and tennessee that gundy was trying to get a better deal ala Les Miles. Which FYI if i was LSU i would've called Miles bluff.

Gundy was trying to get either

1. more money

2. more years

3. more control.

He's a man he's 40 and he played it perfectly

Gundy doesnt run the program...neither does the A.D.

T. Boone Pickens runs the OSU football program

If you were Gundy's agent, what would you have done?

just like i called Les Miles to USE ARKANSAS for a better deal from LSU, i have the thread to prove it

ALL COACHES WHO ARE NOT PLANNING TO LEAVE are using this as leverage now.

stop patting yourself on the back dude, i have been calling this the past two weeks

So what?

What did Les Miles do? What did Charlie Strong do?

Thats what everyone does. You can get fired in a heartbeat. When you have the hammer...SWING IT!

Hmmm.interesting take!!! There just arent that many candidates out there that are that great!! Especially with 2 teams going after a coach with a 7-5 record and seems like T boones Bi tch....He isnt going anywhere...he is safe at OSU!!!! He might get fired year 1 at another school!!

I do not understand why this is even a discussion.  Yes, Gundy used other schools to get a better deal for hiself and his family.  So what ???

Doesn't everyone do this in every line of work ?  I have done it a couple times.  Does that make me a bad person ?

It is called exploring your options and if someone offers a better deal for you and your family , you take it.  If they don't , then you stay put.  I do not see anything at all wrong with this .  I find it interesting that people feel a need to complian about this issue.

2006- 7-6    3-5   Won Bowl

2007- 7-6    4-4    Won Bowl

2008- 9-4   5-3   Lost Bowl

2009 - 9-4    6-2    Lost Bowl

2010 --11-2    6-2   Won Bowl

2011- 12-1    8-1   Won Bowl, B12 Champion...Weeden, Blackmon taken in first round..

OSU Under Les Miles

2002  8-5 (Bowl)

2003 9-4 (Bowl)

 2004 7-5 (Bowl)

If a recruit now decides on a school when they are a junior in High School, by the time they get to be redshirt...its 5 or 6 years by the time they are a senior!! Whose recruits were the 2008 team IYO?? Miles or Gundy???
