COUPLE POINTS I'D LIKE TO MAKE
Nobody is going to miss the BCS: The playoffs can't get here soon enough. Yes I'm excited to see if ND can beat Bama but at the same time I sure do wish Kansas St, Oregon, Georgia and even Florida would all have a chance to play for the National Championship. Hopefully they will get the playoffs to 8 teams but for now all I can say is bring on the playoffs
The SEC is still the best conference: It absolutely kills me to say this but the conference is great from top to bottom. Until somebody can take the National Championship from them they will still dominate. Perhaps maybe the reason so many people hate the SEC is due to their fans but overall they have some great teams. Sure would have loved to see Oregon vs Bama in the NC because I really think Oregon's offense vs Bama's defense would have been a great matchup. Which leads me to my next point
Oregon needs a field goal kicker: That's twice in two years. Do something about it or you guys will continue to be playing in BCS bowls other than the one that matters.
Johnny Football is for real: He wanted to go to Texas and he ends up at A&M? Maybe it's time for Mack Brown to go. Lots of talent and no results. I feel like Texas is one of the most bipolar teams ever. One week they look okay the next week they look terrible. Then they play good all game and then collapse one quarter. Let's make a change. I'm tired of seeing Texas struggle.
Ohio State will be a title contender next year: Urban Meyer has this team right where he wants them. You heard it here first. They will be just as good next year if not better. Buckeyes will hold the crystal ball at least once in the next 2 seasons
College football is the greatest sport ever: The ups, the downs, the drama, the excitement. Week in and week out it doesn't get much better than that. Couple weeks until bowl season starts. Best of luck to you all

we will have college hoops to look fwd to after the bowls
but then it will be a sad and boring 4 months from apr-aug
(i hate baseball)
good luck in the bowls and make the best of them
and drink plenty this month
