Lots of time before these bowls kickoff, but that gives us 12 days of chatter to help cash this bowl season..  I haven't made any wagers yet and likely won't so I can see how the market reacts to the openers.  Some are already on the move.

Initial leans, will bold up the plays once finalized.  Happy to talk through any of the leans or really any of the bowls.  We got lots of time to talk these out.

East Carolina +5.5 and ML

Duke +7.5 and ML

Rutgers +2 and ML

Texas Christian -2.5

Clemson +4 and ML

Nebraska +10 and ML

Oklahoma +5 and ML

Utah State -10

Ohio +7 and ML

I like a lot of those, but after Clemsons performance vs Sc last week and their bowl game last year, I dont see any way I can put money on them vs a team that will be physical and play defense....

Oklahoma should score a bunch of points on A&M's defense, but they're going to give up a boat load too. Can't see this game not going over the posted total 71-72.

I like Rutgers, wrong team is favoured here, Vtech is soft everywhere.  Rutgers stayed under the radar all season.

I also like the Under on TCU, I don't see both teams lighting it up.

What about Iowa state??? I'm gonna bang this!!! Iowa D is alright and ISU's offense should get a nice jolt from the new QB Sam!!!

Jeez, this thread makes me nervous. I was leaning the opposite way on almost all of those. I am with you on Rutgers should be favored) and Utah St.
I just locked in Nevada as well; the line continues to fall, wish I had got it at +10.

Best of luck Spaz.

Banged OU so far. This Johnny Football story is nice and all, but I dont see OU losing this game. Great spot for OU who could have been disappointed with their bowl, but gets a much better team than they would have faced and they should be motivated by all this Heisman BS and the fact that A&M just left the conference.

thanks for all the posts fellas .. I'll get to the responses later on today, but for now let's talk Saturday games.

Famous Idaho Potato Bowl

Toledo +10.5 (22 units to win 20.95)

First run through the lines, I leaned to Utah State, pretty hard too, but the more I looked this one over the more I liked the Rockets.  Utah State is real good with only two losses against Wisconsin and BYU by combined 6 points.  However, these are teams that are for the most part one dimensional and very inconsistent.  Their weakness plays right into the strength of the Utah State defense.  The Aggies played one team, La Tech, who was two dimensional, and while not as good, they'll see that in Toledo today.  For lack of a better word, Toledo is a poor mans La Tech, and yes Utah State beat them, it was only by seven points.  I'll take double digits with some extra prep time.  Utah State likely still wins this game, but they'll need to put up points to do so

Lean : Over
