Texa A&M -5 vs OU

I already have this as my best bowl games. I know both teams extemely well and while I thought FL would beat OU. This is even a worse matchup for OU. OU's run defense is very suspect and OU historically is terrible against a qb that can run the ball. D Moore is the best defensive player in the country and will wreak havoc in the backfield. BLOWOUT.

Oregon -7 over Kstate

The big difference here is depth. Oregon will be as healthy as they have all year and rotate 20 on defense which will keep them fresh. Overall Oregon is just too good in almost every position. I have a lot of different points on why Oregon is the play here. In order to stay with Oregon you have to make them one dimensional and even if you do that its impossible to beat them. A lot of people think this is a finesse team versus physical. I disagree Oregon is extremely physical and has 4 playmaker that can take it to the house on each touch.

ND +8 or more depending on which line you took over Bama

Bottom line is ND's run defense is the BEST in the country better than LSU. Now LSU's secondary is better but to stop Bama you have to stop the run and run the ball. ND can do both. This will be a very short game as ND will run the ball to shorten the game. The line is only over 7 because they are playing Bama and Bama is getting last years respect. This is not last years team.  This will by 4 straight time going against Bama and I feel as strong if not stronger about this game. ND very disciplined team and wont give them those cheap penalites plus with those short throws I expect Bama to finally get hit with holding and PI that they have been getting away with in the past. This will go down to the wire. ND straight up.

One more game is Purdue +18 over Ok State

WTF how is OK State 18 pts better than Purdue. This same team could have beaten ND and OK State defense is nowhere close to where it needs to be as far as winning this big. This will be a high scoring game but 3 scores????

The A&M Game is 4. I dont like saying Game of the Year but I will be on this game max bet.

ND is up to 9.5 I bought it to 10. Bama getting waaaay to much respect. This line should be around 4 IMO.

disagree with you on ND.  2 biggest reasons are:

- i think the time off really benefits bama, they will be fresh and ND's offense is going to stuggle against them and Saban is great at game planning. Bama wasn't as good down the stretch but that is to be expected playing in the best conferenece in college football. now they will have a chance to lick their wounds and go up against a pretty average offense
- ND has had a great season, but remember, they struggled to beat Purdue, BYU, USC (without barkley) and Pitt.   All pretty average teams.  Now they go up against a fresh alabama team that is used to this stage.   ND is going up in class big time here.  oh, and let me ask you the last time ND won a big bowl game...?  i think its been 20 years.

I have been DEAD ON with Alabama all year long. I had LSU, Georgia and A&M. People make WAYYYY TOO MUCH out of Saban and his time to prepare. Last year his team was LOADED. They had 5 guys taken out of the first 35 picks. Its a big reason their defense is not nearly as good as last year. Look at the 3 quality teams they have faced LSU's Mettenburger and Murray lit them up through the air and A&M just flat out beat them. Bama played two creampuffs before playing Georgia and Georgia should have won that game. Bama was ready and plenty fresh for Georgia. Bama also has NOONE INJURED and it goes both ways as far as game planning. Its not like ND just sits there and twiddle their fingers. I think anyone that watched that game knows Georgia could have and should have won that game and ND defense especially the front seven is the BEST even better than LSU to stop Bama's run game. You talk about teams they struggled against but you don't talk about them beating OU AT OU limiting that offense to 13 pts. OU has lost 5 games in the last 12 years at home. You dont hold OU to 13 pts at home and not have a GREAT DEFENSE. Also they also STUFFED Stanford who won the Pac 12 and beat Oregon at Oregon. Against big time competition ND played big. Their defense is BETTER than Bama and not by just a little. Bama has the better offense but its strength against strength. Bama's Oline against ND stop rush defense. ND has ALREADY stepped up in competition 3 times and what does ND having won a bowl game at any time make any difference. Saban is only as good as his talent and this year on defense its just not as good. Plus Kelly on ND side is a very very good coach. Like I said Bama gets waayy too much respect because of PAST TEAMS. This is not last year and even last years team was beatable. I am getting 10 pts with a team that only gives up 10 pts a game who has already faced 3 prolific offenses and only gave up 13 to all 3 teams. I will take that all day long. I don't like ND I like winning money its why I like ND the team with the better defense, a better rush defense, Mantei, and 10 pts.

Train stop stalking me or you will get boxed. If you need a couple of winners check out the NBA forum. Were you laughing when I was 4-0 last week with Georgia?

Just stay out of my thread. You bring absolutely nothing to this forum. I dont want your congrats it means nothing. You just look for someone to miss a pick and then hijack their threads. I nailed every pick last week ESPECIALLY Georgia. I know this Bama team just like I know ND. No teams goes undefeated without GREAT COACHING.

The same qb and the same defense that beat USC with Barkley early in the season. Name one GOOD team that Bama's defense has STOPPED???? Mettenburger, Murray and Manziel shredded that defense. Bama can have all the time they want they dont have anyone injured that is coming back.

Train STOP OBSESSING OVER ME seriously man. I am not going into their threads. I dont even open them. There is no point. I open threads that may bring some value depending on the sport. Carter, jimmy and Fox are all solid in college football.

Think the line on the Bama game should be about 7, I was surprised when I saw 10, 10.5. Not sure if Im gonna do anything with that game.

BigTool how about this you stay out of my threads and I will stay of yours not that I open yours anyways. I have noticed not many Bama fans talking trash about the win. Its because they are licking their wallets from the money the lost. Its why being a homer hurts you.

Train brings nothing to the forum. My thinking in a gambling forum is whoever brings WINNERS brings value. He hasn't posted a solid winner all year. Anyone can post 40 picks a week and pick a winner.

I wonder how pissed off Saban is for Kirby Smart interviewing for the Bama job. If he takes that then he is gone just like the NI coach for recruiting. I can't imagine he won't take the job. It would be a perfect fit for Auburn. If he leaves it really makes ND a more appealing bet.

One of the biggest reasons I go against Bama is their rush defense is not like it has been in the past. LSU, A&M and Georgia were able to run the ball when the wanted to for big yards. Past Bama teams would limit you to 75 yards MAX. Alabama's secondary is average not great. ND will stick with their running game which I think is what hurt Georgia in a lot of ways even though they still could have won the game. ND will shorten the game and keep their defense fresh and will do exactly what A&M did and keep Bama from running the ball for over 150 yards.  If you do that McCarron has to beat you and he has looked EXTREMELY AVERAGE. Everyone is betting that all of a sudden this NEW BAMA team will show up.

I can't see Golston having the same success as Murray, Mettenberger and Manziel did vs. Bama.  I think you overestimate ND's defense.  Pitt rushed for 144, Ray Graham had 172, and Stanford had 147.  Neither of those teams have the same type of talent ND has on the O-line or at RB.
