Not much to say about last night, just a bad night. Can't seem to shake these slow starts to the week. Only down just over 2u tho, going to get that back tonight.
$1000 UCLA +9 Last week I was on Stanford as a small fav on this matchup. Stanford had a lot more to play for in that game. Last week, win or lose UCLA knew they would be on the road in this PAC 12 championship game. That's because Oregon beat Oregon St. before the UCLA and Stanford game was played. Since Oregon won, if UCLA lost they got to play Stanford again. If UCLA would've won last week, they would've have to play @Oregon. So either way last weeks game didn't really mean anything to them. The coaches knew this and prolly saved some plays and defensive looks for tonight's game.
Also it is very hard to beat the same team twice in such a short period of time. And to beat them by the same margin is even tougher. These teams still have that game in their heads and remember some tendencies from a week ago. UCLA will be ready for Stanford tonight and vice versa. They will make stanford beat them throwing the ball, and I'm sure UCLA have made some adjustments offensively. This game has a lot riding on it, and UCLA is a good team. Stanford isnt a high octane team that will score a ton of points, so asking them to win by 10+ is a but much, IMO, especially in a game of this magnitude. There also looks to be a very good chance of poor weather (rain, wind) tonight, which Should keep the game close since it will be harder to move the ball (turnovers, dropped passes, difficult to cut and make plays). Tonight's game should be a very close contest decided by 4 or less points. I think UCLA has a very good chance of beating Stanford because if Stanford doesn't have the lead early, it will be hard for them to score enough points. In the end I give an edge to Stanford being at home and having a very good defense. Stanford wins 27-24.

I was wondering a pretty good team with a sound run game getting +7.5. I know N illinois has a better run defense then most in that conference and can put up points quickly. I just think getting a lot of points in a championship match up is in bettors favors.

Yea I was just looking at this. I may put a unit on Kent st. Since the line is up to 7.5. Im just a little worried because I don't know enough about this Kent St. team. I know what I'm getting with NIU and that's a solid football team that is experienced. Kent st is a good team but will they be ready for this type of game.

Yeah they are two of the top teams for covering the spread this year in NCAA FB. I know NIU is in the championship for the 3rd straight year which says they know how to win and I wouldnt be shocked to see them roll it up early on Kent St. A solid running attack for the flashers but can they come from behind if need be?

Yea all good points. I think Kent St makes it competitive, but I just don't think I'll be pulling the trigger here, especially since I like UCLA a lot more.
