How's is this not a lock. Look at the direction of each team. Whiskey one dimensional and Nebraska can do it all IMO. Thoughts please

I'm a Nebraska fan.  I never bet NU games but if forced I would take the points here.  I don't see Pelini ever winning a conference title.  Huskers were all out to beat Badgers in Lincoln this year and Wisconsin has improved a lot since.  I hope I'm wrong.

Hopefully they learned from the last time they had a rematch in the same season and UDub beat their behind easily. A lot more motivation this time but with their best DT out in Steinkuhler, I worry about Ball running wild. Plus NU starting center went out in the Iowa game and probably won't play. If those two were healthy, the line would probably be a couple points higher.

Martinez should have a good game throwing with game being indoors but can you count on them limiting turnovers? Probably not. They can barely catch a punt not to speak of actually returning one. It is pitiful.

I really think the game being indoors helps NU more than UW. Bo needs this one badly. He could lose the Rose Bowl and be okay but if loses this one, Husker nation is going to be pissed. I would lean NU but don't go crazy.

please elaborate on this?

what does Nebraska can do it all mean?

can they pass effectively?  NO

are they explosive running the football? I havent seen it recently

are they dominant on defense?  Not in the slightest.


Nebraska's best RB burkhead is banged up, they just lost their best DL for the season in stienkuhler,

their most explosive receiver kenny bell is questionable, they lost thier strongest starting OL in Jackson,


Nebraska is riddled with injury and struggled mightily to beat Iowa.

How exactly can they do it all again?

The Badger would win if Coach B. used White and Gordon against this defense. However, he will use Ball and try to run between the tackles. This will be a BIG mistake. If Gordon and White get 20-25 touches the Badgers will win.

I see this as a very tight game. It might land on 3. Nebraska had a tough time at Iowa. Now they go into Wisky... and remember Wisconsin had a big lead in Lincoln earlier in the year before Nebraska came back to win. Does that happen in Wisconsin (if they build the same lead) - not sure.

Close game. Late 4th qtr... might be a no play.

To lose is one thing, but to give up 42 to friggin wisconsin in the first half is just assbad.
