For new players I require an upfront deposit (just like an online book) because I don't want the headache of having to go collect in case the bettor is a dead beat and puts me in the "low priority debt".

So far not many players want to put up an upfront deposit. Which is fine. To my surprise the two guys that ran hotter than the sun this week cashed out zero. I insisted he took out a little something and so with this boost in credibility I am hoping he continues to play and lose it all back. He did lose some of it so I know he won't cash out until he wins it back and then some. That should give me enough breathing room and chance to win back the money.

That spurs/lakers game, he told me if his parlay was not alive by 10 o clock he was going to go all in on the Spurs! This means there was a chance for him to lose it all in one day!

Why do you ask?

Thanks for responding.....I was just curious man. It is harder than hell to find a legit guy that books action anymore. Been burnt with post-up by a few deadbeats from this forum.

Ah. Yes I understand it's hard to find action for US players.

Lucky for me I live in Canada

I see that you live in Oregon. I guess even if I wanted to take your action you're too far away.

Enjoy the National Championship. I am routing for your team. Go Ducks!

Hey Book....As you may have read, I took action for many, many years.....Still got a few guys, and they all lose....No sharps.....I bet a lot also....Here's some of my adventures over the years in summation....Met a guy to square up for 3 g's...We sit down for breakfast and he hands me an envelop....Ready?....His wife's uncles GRAVEPLOT....Value of 3 g's...Of course, howled, but didn't take it....Put him on payments....Another told me to bring my pick up truck....I thought-----hmmmmmmmmm!!....Met, and he was a big deal with H.J. HEINZ....Completely filled the entire truck bed, heaped up too, with commercial sized containers, like sold to restaurants--tuna, soups, condiments, guy, any canned vegs, preserves etc,--ANYTHING that Heinz made....Owed me 500, so I called it square....Filled up 3 full size freezers at mine and son's, plus daughters place, and gave away rest....A guy hit me for 8 g's one week, lost 6 the next, then disappeared for squaring up....Drove out to his farm, wife answered the door...Asked where he was and she said --"Inside laying down on the couch, he was riding a horse, fell off, hit his head on the ground, and has AMNESIA and maybe permanent brain damage, doesn;t  remember ANYONE!!---"And if you don't get the darn out of here, I'm calling the police and reporting you!"..Like that book??..Last one----Good one!....Guy owes me 3 big ones....Told him I wanted it before I went to Vegas for 5 days....He met with me and said his SISTER, a drop dead brunette, about 30 years old, would go with me, no holds barred, to square it up..I was 54..She thought I was going to rub him out...lol!....She went with me and we had a fantastic time....NAME IT, WE DID IT,  AND SHE ALMOST BLEW MY HEAD OFF WITH THE ORAL....Got away with it too for I was married, still am...lol!...She actually hit a slot machine for 2,500 so she made out!....He is still with me, but on a limit as are others....I only had 4-5 guys that I made post....The rest, around 45, were 90 percent good, but I had to chase at times and I hated that....Over the years, I did well, esp. in the 90's, but IT'S TOTALLY DIFFERENT TODAY....--TOO MUCH INFO. OUT THERE VIA COMPUTERS ETC....Had only two losing years....So the action treated me well..If you got volume, and plenty of action, YOU CAN'T LOSE if you know what you;re doing, and know what and how much to "pump off!"..I've been to every casino on the east coast, plus Vegas....Love the dice and Texas hold 'em....  I enjoy your posts....Take care and good luck!....By the way, I used to bang a beautiful gal from Sudbury, Canada who was married and I met online.

bipolarroller: Great stories man. I have a few that are not nearly as exciting. One guy owed me several hundred. Went to his place. Friendly visit. He convinced me he was good for it. His girlfriend offered to darn me, right there in front of him, she was a 300 lbs beast lol and so I kindly refused obv. He wasn't any better. An uneducated dead beat degenerate working telemarketing jobs.

We started playin blackjack and wrote every hand on a piece of paper. Not only did I have the house edge, he had every bad play in the book! He ends up being up $1625. Takes a pen out, scratches out the "25" abs writes "00" and says Merry Christmas. He was dead serious. I left.

Comes Bowl season and he ends up losing it all back. His roommate owed me $400 from blackjack and do did he. His roommate ended up in jail and he disappeared. I lost a good customer. That's why I never give credit no more. It's more about losing business than losing the money.

Another guy owed me $150. Stopped answering my calls. I went to his house with a friend, who was a lotore hardcore than I was. His girlfriend was hot as darn. The dude told me to step outside and he insta-paid me up. Next week I get a call from his gf asking me how much he owed me. I didn't answer. She insisted. I was like I've dealt in the tens if thousands and whatever it was it was peanuts. Probably a subtle brag because she was hot lol.

JHernandez: don't trust anyone with your money unless you know they have something  more important to lose. Like a reputation or family that they don't want to find doesn't about their gambling.

OP's story may or may not be true, maybe the numbers are exaggerated. Who cares! This is the internet with tens of thousands of people surfing by. Someone's ought to hit it big.

Last year I went on a parlay run, progressively increasing my bets every weekend. My peak was at +$155K, iced with USC fumbling the football in the endzone in triple OT to give Stanford the -7.5 cover.

I proceeded to lose back half of it in less than 2 months. And the rest (as a player and a bookie) in the next 11 months. Which is now.

I also know a local bookie who sometimes pays and collects 6-figures from some of his biggest bettors. I have seen the private Poker room he manages and there is sometimes more than $100,000 on the table.

He also almost just paid out a $180K parlay had the Lakers won.

So OP might be full of garbage, or he might just be sharing his joy with the forum. Either way, cool story bro

How did you cover 7.5 points in an overtime...... Max 7 pt win......

College overtime rules: From the 3rd OT on, if a team scores a TD, they have to go for 2.

why would this clown do that??  it is much easier to be up over 120 large in the last 2 weeks in your mind if you post your plays AFTER all the games have been played....

How about the Rockets to blow a 16 point lead to give my guy a 3-team parlay.

I hate basketball

It's the only game in the world where you can be up by 15 and the live line will be 8.5 or some happy garbage. Where a team can go from -1000 live to -140 in minutes.

And here comes the smileys via text.

I miss the days when I used to book bets, I don't have to cap games, just close the book and do the winning or losing the next morning. Now I bet and I am losing my pants

The only problem is, these sharps I take action from are like none other. Zero late payments. Their credibility is greater than that of the federal government. I often count their negative balances as "assets". Sometime the dude would ask me when he should pay me and I tell him it can wait because I want him to lose more.

They're sophisticated white-collar professionals with high incomes and important people in their networks.

Nothing like the degenerate deadbeats I used to deal with. The only problem is it's the degens that lose the most money.

Should I cut off the sharp? He knows what he's doing. When a line is +1 he'll bet the ML or even -2 (different spread). And when it's -1 or -2 he'l never touch the ML.

You are in the same situation that my book faces now. The clients with the good credit always wins and is the deadbeat who always lose and owes him money
