#5 Posted: 11/10/2012 7:39:57 PM With ya, Boom! But, I'm an Aggie homer. They held Moore every play if the game! Sometimes out in the open, no call. Still, great win the A&M program! That ought to get a couple more great recruits! |

#9 Posted: 11/10/2012 7:44:58 PM The refs also missed a clear helmet to helmet call that would have extended a Bama drive in the 4th. |

#11 Posted: 11/10/2012 7:47:11 PM Tell em Boomer. Thats how a Big 12 offense rolls.
Would have loved to see what would have happened last year with OSU hooking up with Bama instead of that snooze fest.

#12 Posted: 11/10/2012 7:48:11 PM Now the spin machine starts figuring out a way to still get an SEC team into the National Championship game. |

#14 Posted: 11/10/2012 7:58:10 PM If the player's toe is in bounds, but his heel is out of bounds, it's an out of bounds/incomplete play.
That was the correct call. |

#15 Posted: 11/10/2012 8:10:46 PM lol watch the nebraska play that guy looked like he had no control of the ball at the 3 let a lone the goal line and how in god's name would you ever over rule that. (IN reality that would of been very debatable if the called it a td but it wasn't even close with the fact they called it a fumble) Yes i am a husker fan and we are a solid team with crazy potential but we love to give the ball away at ridiculous times but that was clearly a fumble (spiel man does hate us for the way we play yes i will agree with that.....we pretty much have crazy potential but piss drives down our leg/get horrible penalties and he just gets nutso about dumb penalties/turnovers and none does it better than nebraska!) |

#16 Posted: 11/10/2012 8:12:48 PM The INT was not an INT......
Toe was in ...... BUT he bobbled the ball completing the catch out of bounds.
However, I agree with BOOM, so many PI's should have been called against BAMA and the refs just looked the other way.
Go Ducks we need a huge Quack Attack tonight.

#19 Posted: 11/10/2012 8:47:04 PM it is so narrow minded to focus on a single call. I mean what are you talking about ? Just like the middle teer teams couldnt beat an average team and then you insert Oregon. Think before you speak |

#21 Posted: 11/10/2012 8:56:00 PM I've spoken to officals over the years about this, both pro and college. They seem to have decided in the last decade that if your toe hits first, but then the heel land out of bounds, like it did on that play, it's incomplete. Back in the 90's they would give you that call though, depending on the official calling it. It's weird because the rulebook was never clear on it in the past. It might be now, but it might not be.
Anyway, ARUKIDNME saw the same thing I did. I believe he bobbled the ball as he hit the turf anyway. So the call was correct no matter how you look at it. I think lol.

#22 Posted: 11/10/2012 8:59:58 PM Alabama got completely outplayed in 3 out of 4 qtrs against LSU and got lucky to get out of that game and then had to play the best offense they had faced on top of well coached. How about 3rd down conversations last 2 games. LSU and A&M converted on 21 out of 38 3rd downs. That is a huge stat that shows that Alabama defense is nowhere CLOSE to what is was thought to be all year long. I called it last game and said if A&M played a clean game they beat Bama. They just did it. |

#23 Posted: 11/10/2012 9:03:46 PM I think most realize that despite that lose there isn't a better conference than the SEC. Also, I think a lot of people realize that they would not want to face Texas A&M right now. They are definitely playing like a top five team right now. |

#25 Posted: 11/10/2012 9:09:08 PM The lack of a Big 12 title game may ensure Bama doesn't get a title shot this year. K St may just run the table. Oregon should do the same. But there's still some football to be played. Weird things happen |
