A&M has a new coach in Sumlin, and a freshman QB.  Despite this, A&M barely lost to Florida and LSU earlier in the season.  This team has done nothing but improve, and has to be the best offense in the SEC.  They also have a competitive defense.

Alabama is coming off a huge emotional victory.  For two seasons, Alabama has looked at LSU as THE game.  THE game for the SEC west and chance to go to the SEC championship, and then, THE game to win a national title.  When they pulled that game out against LSU.  The QB cried and cried.  Even the stoic Saban was showing emotion.  Now, Alabama has to show up Saturday and play a team that is very possibly the best team other than Alabama in the SEC at this point in time.  It's debatable anyhow.

LSU was able to move the ball against Alabama.  And as good as LSU played in that game offensively, A&M will bring twice that offensive fire power to Tuscaloosa on Saturday.

I felt like the toughest test Alabama was gonna have to face the rest of the season was A&M.... and that was before the LSU game.  After LSU nearly won and the emotions spilled by Bama in pulling that game out.  I feel even stronger that A&M is going to win this game.  I am not going to be surprised if they win by 2 TDs... as crazy as that sounds.  There is no better spot to catch a great team like bama than now, and there is no better team to hit them than a scrappy new comer to the SEC that wants to prove something like Texas A&M.  AND it certainly helps to have the offensive fire power A&M has because they have a chance to get up on Alabama quick and create the momentum to see the upset through.

I think A&M pulls off the upset, but the points are an absolute gift...IMO.

Whatever you do, good luck on your picks.  I'll hang up and listen.

Sorry I didn't catch this one earlier in the week.  This forum needs more valuable insight and discussion.  Too much bullshit revolving around each and every thread these days.  Good to hear people are still interested in handicapping.  Keep up the good work.
