Seeing as how Maryland is starting a LB and QB this weekend (and his backup is a walk-on TE), going to lock this one in early. My local already has it at 8, most places are still at 7.5.
5u Georgia Tech -8
The under on this game (unless it's like 27 or something stupid like that) is probably going to be the biggest lock of the weekend.

GT runs that triple option that burns clock. And MD's defense isn't too shabby. I'd say as far as ACC standards go it's one of the top in the conference, lot of upperclassmen on that unit. In last year's game, GT only put up 21 against a similar MD unit when they arguably had a better team.
BYU held GT to 17 pts last week and I'd say BYU's defense is on par with Maryland's. My only concern on 8 pts is that GT won't put up ENOUGH points to cover. Very unlikely though cause MD won't put up enough to cover the other way.
Add Hurricane Sandy to the mix and there's no telling what the field will be like on Saturday.
The total is 47. Being generous and saying Maryland can put up 13, you'd still need 34 from GT. That's asking a lot from a triple option offense that will likely be playing with a lead most of the game.
Maybe I'm wrong and this converted LB starting for the Terps (he played QB in high school last year but was recruited and has practiced the whole season as a LB) turns out to be the truth...with limited/no practice because of Hurricane Sandy...never having played QB in Edsall's scheme...is GT's defense really that bad?
Locking this one in:

My local still doesn't have it up, just hoping it's still 47 when it does come up.

I am still in shock that 2h play missed. GT was content to run out the clock and then fumbles at midfield with 55 secs left. MD drives down to the RZ (including converting a 4th down) and then this 5th string QB throws up a prayer with 4 secs left and Diggs catches it.
