Ten Things We Learned
1. Welcome to reality Florida. Here is a number for ya, 252. whats that you say? It's your total yardage. The funny thing is, that's what it has been almost all year. I said all week long that there would be a time where your offense would have to win a game for ya. Didn't I? I said that, right? You said no Boom, you are just a Florida hater. I said nope, you been winning by smoke and mirrors and at some point you wont be able to hide from your inept offensive issues. How about now? What ya think now? Im not a Florida hater at all. I have just been pointing out the fact that you guys were not really that good. A good defensive football team I give you that. But never ever should have been in the same breath with the elite of college football. So now what? Chick-fil-a Bowl?
2. Yesterday as I watched the Tennessee South Carolina football game I have to admit, I was pulling for Tennessee. As any fan does, he pulls against his rival. But after watching Marcus Lattimore go down with that knee injury I have to admit, I got a little emotional. Talk about a kid with class and who just does all the right things. I feel so sorry for him and his family. So close to closing the deal and making it to the NFL. As a representative of Clemson nation I want you guys from Columbia to know, we are praying for good news. Today we are all Marcus Lattimore fans. Today instead of rivals, we are one.
3. I for one have to admit I thought Oklahoma was gonna lay the smack down on Notre Dame. For some reason I think that the game was never the same after that bad snap over Landry's head. They were driving and who knows how the game would have turned if Oklahoma scores on that opening drive. But I think we all know the answer here. Oklahoma tricked us again. They had us thinking that they were ready and firing on all cylinders. But I guess that's why we call them Choklahoma. I love the line Brent used last night at the game when talking about Landry Jones. So where so go from here with N.D? Truth is, if they go undefeated. They will play in the N.C game. You can bet your ass that.
4. Can we all now agree that King Snyder is the best? How long have I been talking this guy up now? Every year that I have been here on covers I talk about the greatness of Bill Snyder. I even started a thread one time calling Snyder the greatest of all time. I got a bunch of hate on that one. But seriously. What do we do with Kansas st now? If these guys undefeated how do you leave them out? Damn we need a playoff. I do think all these teams will start to lose, they always do. So everyone settle down!
5. I think the worst team and possibly the worst coached team in the country could possibly be South Florida. I have never in my life seen a bigger group of losers then these guys. I know for a fact that B.J Daniels is one of the worst in the country. I just cant understand how you can suck so bad at everything you do. Here is another one to add to the list, Derek Dooley. That cat is awful! So many of his decisions during a game are mind boggling. You guys already know how I feel about Gene Chizik, BTW.... why in the hell did I bet on Auburn last night? Damn I'm a idiot! I will be starting a thread soon called " Coaches that you can bet your ass will be fired ".
6. Is anyone really surprised that Oregon st lost? Not me. As much as I like Mike Riley. I think even he knows that there is only so far he can take this team. So where do put them in the polls? 14th to 16th? When the polls come out today I think we are about to see a ton of shake ups. Oklahoma, Florida, Texas Tech, Rutgers, Ohio, Southern Cal, Wisconsin, Michigan, Miss st and Oregon st all lose! Now what? Are you guys ready for chaos? I am! I love it. I think this is what makes College football so good.
7. Did anyone get to watch Oregon yesterday? I didn't that's why im asking. I know the score was 56-0 at the half! Oregon is so nasty I cant wait until they blast USC. Oregon is doing something they haven't done in past years. Play Defense. If this team continues to play good defense they will go undefeated. If they do, how will they stack up against Alabama? That's saying that Alabama goes undefeated too. Hell it wont matter if they lose anyways. The polls would probably only drop them one spot or two at the most. But there is no SEC bias. I think Alabama doesn't want anything to do with Oregon.
8. Am I the only one who loves this USC disaster? Lane Kiffen is such a douchebag I dont think it couldn't have happened to a better person. Losing to Arizona is just simply embarrassing. You know what it means? It means your a very overrated football team who got way too much hype to start the season. I know myself for one talked about this team being overrated due to the fact of lack of depth. Is it showing now? Yeah it is, I also think Matt Barkley is another " Landry Jones " who simply doesn't have " it ". Now does that mean they cant beat N.D or Oregon? No. I think they have a real good shot a beating USC. But beating Oregon, maybe not.
9. So I guess it's LSU Alabama week coming up. Question is whats the line? I'm thinking Alabama -7. If it is, I'm taking Alabama. Can LSU score on this Alabama team? Maybe not. Over under on points LSU scores? I say 10. I will take the under. I will say this tho, if there is a coach out there that can beat Alabama it's the mad hatter. Is it because he is a good football coach? Absolutely not! LMAO!!! No, No...it's because this cat is the only guy that will try to run fake punts, drop kicks, 13 guys on the field, a fan from the stand and possibly a quadruple reverse.
10. Blah Blah Blah. This is my season so far. When am I going to break out and do great things? Maybe not! I hope so, but I just cant get away from being mediocre. I'm not gonna talk about it no more, im just gonna let it happen. From here on out, no pressure. But on a serious note. The haters were kind of disappointing this week. I only seen my one stalker make something like 50 to 60 alias. That's down! I use to getting something like at least a 100 from that guy. Anyways, November is here.....Put up or shut up!
