Overall: 18-11 +15.58u
Week 6: 5-1 +4.9u
Last 2 weeks: 10-1 +12.08u
Bibendi Specials: 5-1
GOY: 1-0

Since I already have had a GOY this year we wont call it that, well just call it a really big Bibendi Special. Finally seem to have the ball rolling in the correct direction for the first time in years. I know there are a lot of big games this week and most people probably wouldnt take the marquee matchup of the week, but I like it, a lot.

Some thoughts from last week:

-Fire Frank Beamer

That is all.

Really Big Bibendi Special:

LSU -2.5

Their offense cant score any points! The mad hatter cant coach! Florida ran all over them in the second half! Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm sure I'll hear all of this. USC favored by 1 at home last week and now only 2.5 pt dogs in Death Valley at night? Huh? LSU could have shut out Florida last week had they not lost both linebackers for those 2 scoring drives. Their defense looked great and that was with Florida taking away their biggest strength by running every down. Mingo and Montgomery will get after any QB who drops back to pass and there is NO chance Spurrier runs it 25 times in a row. This game isnt being play in Columbia either, this is a night game in Death Valley coming 1 week after USC has their biggest win in recent memory. Hangover spot? Against a fired up LSU squad coming off their first regular season loss in years. LSU is a different team at home, especially in Death Valley at night. That defense will be flying and I quite frankly do not trust Connor Shaw to win in a game in that environment. Sure Lattimore is awesome, but he still doesnt look like he did pre-ACL and he is going to need to be every bit of that for them to score.

USC has struggled on the road in both games this season. They were losing 17-7 at half vs Kentucky and probably should have lost to Vandy week one. That defense does not look untouchable away from home and it is going to have to be. If they are down 17-7 at half, there is no coming back.

GL this week gents

24 pts for the game seems about right.  I'll be on under for sure.  GL

B23 i loved your ducks special because chip kelly had been calling off the dogs and i felt also that he would lets the dogs out vs the huskies,, but i gotta disagree with you about LSU this weekend,, now i may be wrong about this and i did not think they would beat florida but could not pull the trigger on the gators  ...i do no see them beating this SC squad,,may be the best team the old ball coach has had at SC ....mobile qbs give LSU trouble and this SC D is one of the best in the nation ...LSU fans are wishing for jefferson back so you know  that the qb play is bad......and the last home game was a stuggle vs townsend,,,a school nobody never heard of....the old ball coach wants to be unbeaten when he meets bama and i don;t think LSU will be able to outscore them this weekend...SC 27---9........BUT GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR WAGER...

It's Towson. And yes no one Has heard of Townsend. His prediction is correct. Lsu. This is a situational game. Doesn't matter who the players are. Sc gonna lose. By how many not sure. But they will lose.

If you think SC scores 27 on LSU in Death Valley you are high. Not saying SC cant win this game but they would need 2 defensive scores to get there

mobile qbs give LSU trouble and this SC D is one of the best in the nation

Which ones? I'm scared as hell for the Tigers going forward but the last mobile QB to give LSU trouble was Cam Newton.

well you gotta know the situation and the situation is LSU will have trouble even at home trying to score vs this SC D...LSU has scored one touchdown in eight quarters of SEC play and is running out of games to find out what the problem is with SC due in baton rouge in four days ...they barley be auburn has a 20 point favorite 12-10 ...the tigers only ran for 42 yards on 25 carries vs the gators...you do the math on that ground and pound ground game...yes i thought so....georgia came in with a league leading 48 points and 536 yards a game of O... and the old ball coach;s D  shut them down...and arron murray is a much better qb than zach mettenberger....maybe LSU finds a magic wand but i don;t see it ..SC  27-9......

I'm not hating on your pick here. I'm just wondering how SC scores 27? They scored 17 in Vandy and were losing 17-7 to Kentucky at half. That doesnt scream elite to me. No doubt Aaron Murray is a better QB than Mettenberger, and also no doubt that a ground game is generally much stronger at home. They crowd was wreaking havoc on Mettenberger and he couldnt make the adjustments they needed. That crowd noise wont be there this weekend and he will be much more comfortable.

Good luck either way

Yes normally a let down spot for the Cocks after the beating they gave the Dawgs, along with LSU being pissed from losing to the Gators. and yes I know its Baton Rouge at night. normally that all adds up, but I don't see the Cocks having a problem getting up for this one. First off the Cocks have a well balanced offense, along with a pretty damn good defense. LSU on the other hand has an offense that has been pretty much non existant, with the biggest concern, not having a power run game, along with an offensive line who is struggling, and a QB who has played poorly when pressured,  and a defense that just isn't as good as they were last year..  During Les Miles press conference, he was pleading for the Tiger fans to show up and be louder than they ever have before, I think he knows he is in trouble... so I am ignoring the situation, and whats could be a letdown spot, and taking the team who is playing on a completely different level.. Best of luck

i agree with UL.  I really do not see how LSU scores in this game.  Their offense is absolutely pathetic and their defense is not near as good as last year.  It might be a situational play but i can not see how they score in this game unless there is a turnover within the 25 on SC side of the field.

By situational you might be looking back to whenever it was the SC blew whoever it was out of the water traveled to whoever it was the next week and got their shoes knocked off.  The problem with that is that SC team was not nearly as good as this SC team is.

For god sakes this LSU D allowed auburns atrocious offense put up 10 points against them 2 weeks ago and almost get out with a win.  They allowed towshit to put up 22 on them at home!

I have to disagree with the LSU pick in this game and it makes me very happy to see the majority of covers on them.
