#28 Posted: 10/6/2012 12:17:48 AM I keep staring at the north texas game...so tempting but something is keeping me from pulling the trigger. Possibly because they have not been tested by a pass heavy team...i dont know but I think you're on the right side. With you on a few...and hope my boys do it for you...gl bud. |

Sorry, played in a coed softball tournament tonight so I wasn't around to respond to your post. I did like the Utah State/BYU under quite a bit. I ended up playing both 1st half unders and BYU -6.5 in a 3-team parlay. Thank God I took Utah State +3 (2nd Half) to make a little profit on the parlay.

I don't listen to Jim Rome much, but I remember listening to him one time several yrs back and he went off on "Softball Guy". |

I only lose the vig if the bet losses. If the final score is 58-14 then me making the bet @ -120 is inconsequential.

"Coed" softball my friend . . . "coed." That'll sink in after a while.
Coed or not, I still don't tolerate losing. Here is a Youtube video of me!!!

I'm putting a small amount on the N. Texas straight up. GL this weekend and GO

I agree. I will have cash on the moneyline with you!!!

Any feel for USC/UGA? I'm leaning USC and possibly the Under, but can't pull the trigger. |

Looking at Texas State and Maryland as well.
Good luck this weekend, dude.
Went Under on Pitt/Syracuse...but took the game total, I believe.
I've been keeping track of this Texas State and they may be the most underrated teams in college football. 3 & 1 ATS with their only loss coming to Texas Tech, and pummeled Houston week 1. I really liked them last week, but shyed away. Not this week. I'm officially on the bandwagon!!!

Wilson should be enough to cover this I'd hope, but curious your thoughts. I actually thought you'd be on this game.
Both of those teams are unbettable. If I had to bet it, I would take the points. Way too many other great bets on the board to mess with that game IMO.

Congrats on your win.

I felt like Utah State couldn't score enough points to cover this spread. I guess I was kind of right. It's tough to cover a 6.5 spread when you only score 6 points!!! WTF???

I'm very animated when I'm losing!!!
I can't find a bet in this game that I feel comfortable with. I'd rather play the roulette wheel than bet money on a Mark Richt coached team. So, gun to my head, I'd have to go with the Spurrier coached team. If I have had to bet this game, I would roll the dice with the 1st Half under even though I'm not crazy about it either. No bet for me.

I'm saying UH is a pass heavy team and I think thats what is keeping me off north texas as I don't know what to expect from their defense as they have not played such an offense. However we know UH offense is aweful so north texas should be able to put up pts |
