Love the NW and Purdue plays. Both teams are flat out better than Penn State and Michigan. Too many people figure the big schools will be better. Low hangin fruit if you ask me.

I have to agree with Weeble, I hate writeups or even simple analogies because I can create a perfect writeup for the team I'm betting against. In the case with tomorrow's Western game, I could say I was betting against Western because Carder is out and Van Tubbergen is about as useless as they come. I could create a few more points along with one or two stats and then, bingo....UMass, it is. But I'm not going to do that. Tomorrow's game reminds me of the Hawaii-Byu matchup in a sense because it really doesn't matter who's playing QB for BYU or Western in these two matchups which is why the spread went up instead of down for the Western game. Does anyone follow UMass to realize how friggin pathetic they are against the run? They are about as bad as Hawaii. So, You and I could play QB and hand off 50 friggin times tomorrow because UMass isn't going to stop Chance and the rushing attack. UMass is giving up 250 yds/gm on the ground and that average will get hit tomorrow as well. Meanwhile, Umass has only produced 7 friggin TD's all year, averaging 300 total offensive yds/gm. Jesus. So, once again...I don't give a damn if Carder isn't playing, I'm just hoping that Van Tubbergen protects the friggin ball and doesn't throw any interceptions. |
