LSU has been sandbaggin all year.... they only have 1 goal national title and their going to get there... i challenge anyone to tell me where flordia has a advantage in this game? trust me i have a good feel on a few teams and LSU is one of them.. let me say this i dont feel uf is a bad team at all but LSU is the cream of the crop...with that said i honestly believe LSU can win by 20+ if they wanted to are they going no.. they will win by  between 4 or 10 just to keep people still guessing and, prolly saying they got lucky again, ect.... Now when they play bama thats a different story... that is the game they will dominate...

Btw a very very important side note CBS is really pulling for LSU as under contract they are only allowed one night game a year... they picked Bama and LSU for the game... CBS needs LSU the conference needs LSU all the hype ,build up, ratings .. LSU and bama undefeated in primetime this is about business.....

I think value lies with Florida getting 3 points at home. Based off what I've seen so far, I think this should be a near pk game.

LSU's offense has looked stagnant at best... it just appears that every offensive posession is a struggle to sustain any kind of drive, and I feel in the Swamp, the Gators will stay after Mettenberger all night long, and he has not done well when forced out of the pocket, very inaccurate, makes poor decisions, and forces the ball. I like the Gators

Everyone is trashing Mettenberger, but I believe everyone was trashing Driskell a before the UT game.  Despite what a lot of you think Mettenberger is a very talented qb.  Could this be the week he breaks out....who knows, but he sure is capable.  The play calling does not do him any favors, as LSU runs a predictable run on 1st and 2nd and throw on 3rd.  If LSU would ever throw on first down, this team would be so much better offensively....why Miles refuses to do this is beyond me.

With that being said, I think LSU has underachieved this year so far and they have more NFL talent than UF.  LSU's speed on D will prove to be too much for UF.  They are statistically better in every defensive category....they only give up 217 yds per game!  That is strong.

In the end I think Mettenberger has his best game of the year and LSU wins a low scoring game 17-10 or 17-13.  Should be a fun game to watch.

Muschamp vs. "The Hat" is a coaching mismatch in favor of Muschamp.

I cant see taking LSU for any reason. I have the game capped at Florida a slight favorite Lsu's qb is in the bottom 3 of the league in my opinion as of today. It may be a game to leave alone. I will be making  my decision whether to make florida a play sometime today. good luck

Comes down to QB play.  UF has one, LSU doesn't.  Look for counters and play action from the UF offense to keep the LSU d-line in check.  The Swamp is still one of the top 5 toughest places to play and I think ZM gets rattled.

UF 16

LSU 13

I am on Florida to win the EAST at +310 and to win the SEC at a Longshot 18-1....

Might hedge some with LSU , Hoping for -2 or less ....

No clue how this game will play out

Mettneberger averages 25 more yards a game than Driskell and has thrown more TD's.  So I guess Driskill is in the bottom as well?

Look at their rushing attempts and net yards... big advantage goes to Driskell... Mettenberger is around -100 yds, Driskell is around + 150 yds... that says alot for getting out of trouble, and keping a drive alive... like I said above, Mettenberger hasn't been good under pressure.

Florida hasn't played near as bad of a schedule as LSU so far, hell not many teams if any have played in two road games like UF has had to play against top 20 offenses in the country.. In consecutive weeks

Yea and I know that Florida will be sending a lot of it, it will look just like the Bama defense scheme wise this weekend.

You are absolutely right about the rushing yards for Driskell vs Mett; however, I don't think UF has played a defense (especially a Def Line) as quick as LSU.  Going to be tough for him to escape.

I will admit Mettenberger has looked like garbage this year, but I think he is going to have a break out game.  LSU threw the ball down the field more last game and I think you will see LSU test Florida's secondary with their fast WR's.  A lot of people thought I was crazy when I said Driskell would have a break out game against Tenn, as I'm sure a lot people will think I'm crazy for predicting the same for Mettenberger.  Some young QB's take longer than others to come around and I think his time is this weekend.

Why even touch this game? Until we see what LSU does against a good football team, there's really no judging what type of team may show up. I don't buy the bullshit regarding LSU looking ahead of Auburn and "not really caring" They were in position to lose that games multiple times in the 2nd half. They should feel extremely fortunate to escape with a win. This LSU team isn't that good, but Florida's offense is a wild card as well. One of the most unpredictable games this week, and one that I wouldn't suggest having money on.

This coming from a die hard LSU fan, there is no way in haiti's I would touch this game... We are NOT the same team from last season, NOT EVEN CLOSE... What the bettor's world does not realize , we lost 4 starters to academic suspensions 3 weeks ago! Mettenberger is clueless & folds under pressure, ex : (LSU vs Auburn) We are wayyyyyyyyyyyy overated nationally,  IMHO... If I were an addict & just had to bet this game, ( of which I AM NOT )  Take Florida!!!  As for myself, absolutely staying away, I see Fl handing LSU their 1st loss, with a domino's effect to follow!!!

You only lost one starter Tahj Jones....and he sat out the first two games, so he never played this year.  The other three Edwards, Welter and Washington were all back ups. Your credibility as an LSU insider/fan just got thrown out the window.

Faulk, Blue, and Copeland were all starters. All injured and out for considerable time.

I think people are looking at this game totally wrong. Florida is good but LSU is elite. Florida has not played anyone yet with a even marginal defense. They do not have the playmakers to stretch the field on LSU. If you look at last year when Florida started 4-0 with a better offense the lost the next 4 out of 5 to SEC teams with strong defenses getting blown out by Alabama and LSU. Now is LSU they same as last year no but LSU has been vanilla on purpose and will dominate the trenches vs Florida. If texas a&m or tenn had any athletes on defense which could stop Florida from big plays both would have won. There will be no 80yrd runs or #8 end arounds on LSU..Driskell will have 3 ints  24-10 LSU

That is correct; however, it said "academic" suspensions three weeks ago.  Faulk is the biggest blow of the three.  Big time talent.
