Texas Tech + 3.5
It’s been awhile since the Red Raiders have had a team that could compete with OU. OU brings a very overrated team into Lubbuck on Saturday. TT is 4-0 ATS this year, and OU has only covered once. I think TT will win this game straight up, but for insurance take your FG+ and sit back and grin.
S. Carolina -3
Some places give you the chance to buy under a FG, unfortunately my book does not. I still like the home team in this one. TN showed last week how to move the ball on UGA, and I believe SC defense is the difference in this Top 10 Showdown. Gimme the Ole’ Ball Coach in a close one. Lean to the Under here as well if you want to get greedy and parlay.
Kansas St -24
Ole Man Snyder has these guys playing ball this year. And Kansas can’t wait for basketball season to start. I think KSU can name the score in this one, and typically when you play the in-state rivals, you run it up as much as you can. Take KSU and turn this one off at halftime.
UCLA -3
UCLA has a pretty nice squad this year. We here at MemphisGrinder, INC just are not sold on the Cal Bears. UCLA is 4-1 against the number this year, with the only loss being to the Beavers of Oregon State. Cal has only covered once this year, and UCLA is scoring like they are playing 7-7 drills. Gimme the Bruins and the short #.
Purdue +3
Oh Purdue how you mistreated me last week. How do you blow a 42-14 lead and cover against We are Marshall??? I think they get back on track this week against an over-valued Michigan team. Not the strongest play on the card, but I think it’s a good spot for this Purdue team.
N. Carolina -3 (Buy the ½ Point)
This is not your Mom’s & Dad’s VT guys. They are a horrible 1-4 ATS this year, and some of those weren’t even close. N. Carolina the past 2 weeks have rolled up 93 points to only allowing 6 points. I know it was against the little sisters of poor, but that’s still playing some football. Statement game in Chapel Hill on Saturday. Gimme the Tarhills.
Air Force -10
One Academy is playing good football this year, the other is not. This line should be 3 TD’s. I like AF to run away (literally) with this one.
New Mexico +9.5
This is strickly a play against Idaho. Idaho is 1-4 ATS this year, and just got smoked 66-0 last week. No team that lost by 66 points should be laying 9.5 points to anyone. Gimme New Mexico St. and them points.
