Initial interests in Boise, Kentucky, Rice, Penn State, Rutgers, Clemson, KState, Tulsa. Need to see lines, of course.

Can ULM really play another great game?

WV should put up 55

LSU might not let Aubur score....

Like LVille at that #

Would have to play K St +11.5

Cuse can beat Minny

I think this will be your week bro.

-Cuse opening as a favorite was probably the biggest surprise for me.

-KState catching that many points looks way off. Just a tougher and better-coached team and have the best player on the field.

-That LSU line is interesting. Obviously they could have put it at 21+ and drawn action but 14-17 was clearly too low.

I'll have to look at that N.Texas game.  Their QB played well last week.  Don't know a whole lot about Troy this year.

Boise is tough at home.  They are well coached and if there is an opportunity to blow BYU out, they will.  It is a rather high number so maybe it is good but they sure get a lot of the players they recruit which are not the 5 star blue chippers like USC or ND gets and yet they hang with some tough teams like Mi. St. And before beating the likes of Va. T.

Thanks BB. I cannot wait for the season to start but am fairly certain you guys will avenge last season's loss on Hawk Hill. How do you feel about Gibbs taking over at the point?

On BYU...

This game can go two ways. One possibility is BYU cannot get past the heartbreak in Salt Lake City and gets absolutely trucked from the get-go playing its in its second ridiculous environment in five nights. The other outcome is this veteran, grizzled Cougars team picks itself off the mat and plays absolutely balls-to-the-wall in a game that comes down to the final possession. I'm inclined to believe it will be the latter, especially considering BYU's penchant for playing to the level of the opposition and the fact that they are rarely blown out of games. At -4 or -5, this was a clear no-play, but with the hook available at over a touchdown, I'll take a chance on Mendenhall's group. It should be apparent early on whether BYU is mentally and physically "in" the game.

Gray has high ankle sprain and probably won't be playing for Minny..he's basically their entire team..

I don't know much about N. texas but I was on Troy last week and watched their game against Mississippi st. They run a spread and throw the ball all over the place. They moved the ball at will against Miss. St. ringing up almost 600 yards. They lost because of 2 big turnovers and 2 long touchdowns against their shaky looking defense. The interesting part was how they were able to control the line of scrimmage against Miss. St. I like them this week, but need to look in to N. Texas some more

Guess that explains the line, though Shortell is a better passer, IMO. Definitely a no-play for me.
