#3 Posted: 9/11/2012 3:01:19 AM I have LSU at -42.5, there's no way Idaho scores in that game. LSU will probably go up big before half time and continue to run the ball for the rest of the game, typical Les. I can't see Idaho covering that line unless you're thinking LSU won't put up 43 against one of the worst teams in the game. |

#5 Posted: 9/11/2012 3:08:58 AM They'll score 1 TD. That's all they'll need. See W.Kentucky last year, N.Texas this year. That's the kind of game I'm looking for. |

#7 Posted: 9/12/2012 6:48:50 AM Adding two leans:
14. Notre Dame +6 15. Utah +4
Plays
1. USC -8 Stanford --Even without their starting C, USC is going to score on these guys. The question is can the Cardinal keep pace? The Cardinal offense is predicated on establishing a solid running game. They haven't been able to do that at all this year. SC presents the best defense they have faced to date. I see the Trojans winning by double digits.

#8 Posted: 9/12/2012 6:56:59 AM Adding 1 play:
2. North Texas +28.5 Kansas State -- Spot play here. KState off an behind whipping of the U, have the Sooners on deck. The back door should be open for the Mean Green late. |

FWIW I'd be careful with that lean. Did you watch the Utah game last week.....they looked horrible. Granted, Jordan Wynn has now retired after hurting his shoulder again, so he won't be in there throwing wounded ducks for the Utes, but I'd need more than 4 pts for Utah against BYU. In fact, I'm thinking of adding BYU to my card this week. BOL

Yeah I saw the game. Utah had all kinds of problems dealing with the various blitz packages in the 1st half. 2nd half adjustments were made with quite a few slants and TE seam routes. Utah has a good D, a better offense than what we saw Thursday night, and at least will cover the points at home IMO.
Any idea what the line on this game was preseason (before the Utah St. debacle?) I'm guessing Utah was laying points?
Good luck with your wagers and thanks for dropping by. |

#14 Posted: 9/13/2012 9:16:05 AM Not sure what the line movement has been on this, but it would not surprise me if Utah was giving points before last week due to Utah's game against the Aggies, and BYU's better than expected play so far. |

6. Notre Dame +6 Michigan St. --- Just too many points to pass up in what should be a tight, low scoring game.

#19 Posted: 9/16/2012 4:15:23 AM Week 3 Recap (6-4) +1.6 units
1.USC (X) Stanford was able to run, SC wasn't. That was the difference. As a fan glad to see Trojans go down and not really surprised. Just thought 1st loss would be vs. Utah on a Thursday night.
2. N.Texas (o) Spot play worked. Great game by Mean Green QB
3. Penn State (o)
--Nice to see the Nittany Lions get into the W column
4. Ohio St (x) -- Really surprised by play of QB Maynard. If he can repeat that performance, Cal has shot to knock off SC next week.
5. Idaho (x) -- If you would have told me the Vandals would put up 14 points, I'd of thought that would be a winner. Miles exceeding 60 points?? Wow.
6. Notre Dame (o) --Thought it was going to be closer. Huge game for the Irish vs. Michigan this week.
7. Utah (o) No surprise here. They are better than they looked Thursday vs. Utah State. Tremendous value in this line.
8. Pitt (o) See Utah. And no, Sunseri is not the worst QB in Div.1
9. BC (x) --Just missed a chance at backdoor cover.
10. Missouri (o) Caught a good line here. Surprised ASU kept it this close. Pac-12 south race is going to be very interesting.
Really looking forward to week 4. Michigan/ND is always a good one.
Noles looked dominant. We'll see how dominant when they face offensive juggernaut Clemson. That's the game of the week for me (as a fan)
Auburn is in a world of trouble when the Bayou Bengals paying a visit.
Conference opener for UCLA. We'll see if Mike Riley has really turned the Beavers around.
