since  the line first came out everyone jumped all over s.c at minus 6  now its almost game time and evryone is still on them and the line only moved  a half of point  for vegas to only move the line that little they must like everyone taking scar  so i will side with vegas and take vandy…remembefr the house never loses     2 units vandy             vegas knows this is  big game and every bettor  will touch it    tail me fade me  do what u want         i also like e mich over ball st   there returning alot from last years team who didnt have a losing season in a long time…i look for them to have big yr and start the year off with win

vegas opened the line at 6 with all money comming in on scar that line should have jumped way high like 8 to 9 points…keeping the line where it is vegas is saying keep taking scar…do u understand  so the play is vandy

Last year the public absolutely cleaned up. I have a very hard time believing odds makers won't make it very difficult to bet on quality teams this year.

2 questions here..
1 where are you getting  your numbers that says everyone is on S.Car??  Covers consensus number only show what the members on this site have selected on the contest page.
2.  Are you just basing this train of thought on betting percentages? because if you are, then you have made a major mistake.  remember, it amount of money that is bet, not amount of bets that is place that will move lines.

all i need to know is that 85 persent of the public is on scar which mean the money is on them…the way i handicap football is the 80 20 rule…thats when 80 percent of the public is on the away team and the away team is favored i take the home team and side with the house…dont care whos playing its about the  numbers

I hope you really don't follow the 80/20 rule by looking at covers or vegasinsider percentages. If you do, don't plan on winning much in the long run. Regardless of who wins tonight those numbers aren't accurate and they sure as hell don't tell you how much "REAL" money is placed on either side. I think any logical person would know South Carolina probably has more money coming in on them but a book doesn't want "87%" (vegasinsider) the money on one side. If it was truly that high the number would be moving a lot more.

Doesn't matter what the percentages are, you have no idea where the money is.  But it's safe to assume that the 15% are the one's throwing down big money, enough to level out the 85% which is probably mostly smaller bettors.  That's why the line hasn't moved, the money is even on both sides.  

It's either that or, books know if they give into the public and give any more points to Vandy than big money/sharp bettors will jump all over it. Protecting themselves.
